This is my last season with GLB so I am opening my builds up just in case any of the newer people to Pee Wee have any questions about what kind of build works in Gold.

If anyone has questions about how I build just ask and I will tell you. Let me know the position you are inquiring about though.

I don't mean for this to come across as an arrogant post. I truly am just trying to help the people out who have questions and maybe try to make the league have better competition if some of the subpar teams get a little better is all.

I dont think these are experimental, if thats what you were shooting for.

Most of the builds seem pretty on par with cookie cutter PW builds. I do find your EQ a little interesting though. Were you trying to round attributes out a little more by spreading the EQ?

I'm also guessing that you made all your wideouts hands WR's with speed archtype? Capped catching first then agility etc.

No...I was not shooting for experimental this season. I had a feeling this would be my last season so I wanted to give it a legit run with builds that are proven to work.

1) Most people take their primary skill to 60. Some do go to 68 depending on the position. As far as my defense goes like my CB's and safeties and LB's are concerned you don't need that much speed. A lot of speed actually hurts you. So instead of taking speed to 60 I stop around 54 maybe 55. That saves me 10 skill points by not taking it to 60 and then I use 4 pieces of equipment to give me that speed around 60 that I want. I then use 4 pieces of equipment on agility and those saved 10 skill points from speed goes to my agility and I stop at 48. Everything else is vision!!!! If I have skill points left I may take agility up a few more notches. It just depends on what I see when reviewing games.

2) As far as my WR's go I cap agility at 48 right off the bat. While I am capping agility I multi train speed and stamina with catching in my free slot. As soon as agility is caped at 48 I then start on my catching and take it to 60. Once I start on catching I remove it from my training and replace it with vision.

I'm glad you posted this whodey. Believe it or not I have been thinking about doing something like this for about 3 weeks now but hesitated because some people get upset when experienced owners reach back to help agents with less experience. I know this because I was put under the microscope when Gerr helped me. I have opened my builds and no I'm no expert dot builder but the intent is to give agents with less experience a model to follow to help them become more competitive when playing in Gold. I have an idea to post " How To " tips but I'll wait until the off season before I start. Thanks again whodey. I struggled against tough teams until someone decided to reach back and help me.

I applaud both of you guys for posting your builds. I'm all for helping other, less experienced agents, and it makes pee wee a much better game as a whole. I was also thinking of posting a guide or builds, but I'll wait until the offseason to do so.

hmmmm I wondered if taking anything past 60 was overkill

so which is it, all about the builds because after awhile I figured it was all game planning

By the end of the season most PW builds will end up about the same if you're doing it right. In the playoffs it is definitely all about game-planning.

These builds should send out a message to all PW newbies or those trying to get better; PW is as much about coordinating as building. These builds all have their differences and there are a few unexpected things in there, but the builds are far from Earth shattering.

Building your dots with a plan in mind and utilizing them to the best of their abilities is key to success.

I think the last thing in my post is as important as any. You need good builds and good planning, but you need to make those plans fit your strength.

If I took Tazmann's AI and threw it on my builds, we'd suffer. I am not that type of offense. Same as if I took my AI and threw it on his team. Build your dots with a plan in mind and add on good game planning to play to your strengths.

Stamina is more important than a lot of people think....especially for CB's and WR's. I usually get stamina on my WR's to a minimum of 30 stamina and last season I took them to 37 stamina.

Every single dot of mine will have a minimum of 25 stamina but usually around 30 stamina.

Dline, Oline, QB, Punter, and kicker I take to 68.

Most builds are close enough by playoff time that game planning does play a big role. Take TazVikes for example (Sorry Taz ) they do a great job on offense but if you learn how to scout and game plan properly you can eliminate certain things that they do well.
