his contract is up next year...he's not gonna resign because they ain't building him a championship caliber team.

When he goes he is going to be one of the most hated faces in Cleveland sports. After showing up at the Indians-Yankees games with a Yankee hat, and then abandoning their city. I don't know if Jersey or the Knicks are going to have any more success putting together a championship team either.

all that matters is if Hossa is smart enough to resign with the pens or walk.

looks like pens or edmonton...good luck being on an average team.

if hossa walks, jagr is coming back (ya rly)

Think I'd prefer Hossa over Jags. He's a moody player and I'm not sure how well he'd jive with Sid - though maybe he'd pair up with Geno. He has/had a nasty habit of taking shifts/games off, I wonder how Therien would handle those types of situations.

jagr will go back to the penguins...he's gonna go home to retire...they will move someone to make room for his salary.

and why else would new jersey be letting go of jefferson unless they plan on making space for james....carter is next.

oh noez! et tu hossa?

ruutu is gone, laraque is (soon to be) gone

orpik doesnt sound good!

oh and the pens wont have trouble signing jagr, the wont pay him more than crosby/malkin.

8.7 million is the most a player should make in the nhl (ovechkin is in that range)

pay sundin 10 mil a season? that is absurd.

I`m a transplanted Pittsburgher in Vancouver, the Sundin thing is because of Luongo. They have him for 2 more years, trying to prove to him they are trying to win. Crazy money when there are much better players out there.

Mass exodus in Pit, unless Shero is lowballing everyone, the players must hate playing for MT.

I guess I hope for Jags, but I`m also hearing Naslund going back to the Burgh too.

you guys just got your answer....hossa is a redwing and that leaves room for jagr to sign with the pens for 1 last year before he retires where he started.
