So the plays are the same as glb1, do they also have similar strengths and weaknesses as glb1?

Are good plays from glb1 generally good in glb2 or is it totally different?

Just looking for a starting point to clean out my playbook from.

Well the strengths of plays in GLB1 are generally in that you have the ability to use the progressions to your advantage. Some plays that are awesome in GLB1 right now are really not as appealing in GLB2 for various reasons. The routes that are currently pretty game breaking in GLB1 aren't similarly game breaking in GLB2. I would tend to compare the game of GLB2 offensively to GLB Seasons prior to 10. Then again it also depends on how you are building your guys as well. Also screens haven't been very good for me. Maybe someone else will have better luck but they are nothing like GLB1. It is really old school thinking imo. Sent me back to my early days as an OC in terms of thinking when I watched some of my first games.

Also Rookie plays should not be the same as Veteran plays.

You will need to adjust your playbook as you learn what is working for the bots at your level and your builds.

For instance, outside running was super powerful in rookie on the test server, but by the end of the first season it wasn't, then it wasn't good again until ~end of third season (and even then, not always).

Lotta things changed from that first season of testing. Tough to say how it is gonna look in this first season.
