I'm trying to sign a couple players (non CPU) from CPU teams, but I don't have the option to "recruit" them or whatever. Am I just crazy?

Same here and how do you release CPU players?

You should be able to press the little scissor icon on your roster next to their name

Thanks, I guess that should have been obvious. Still would like to offer CPU players.

Still need to know this. I'm losing out on players...

It appears that they're not being listed as Free Agents for some reason. I put my player on a CPU team hoping that it would just be temporary until an offer from a real team came along. I wish now that I hadn't done that.

Edit: Right after posting this, I received an offer which I accepted. I have no idea how the offer was made.

Edit: I thought that it might have been because I had created another ad for my player, but I just realized that the CPU team that he was on had been bought and that was why they were able to send an offer.

I'm still wondering about this, and I've seen a few other posts about it too. I don't want to be a dick and keep bumping it, but I just want to know that someone who can fix it knows about this issue.

Since there are no more CPU teams, logic would dictate that they are now owned by someone, and the owner has chosen to keep the players they have on the team they bought.

Heh, good call. I probably should have checked that prior to bumping this.

Had this issue with the marketplace, as ads are showing for players on teams that were bought, and not being removed.

Something, I believe that should've been coded to begin with
