All forum rules apply here and we will do our best to make sure this and other specific forum areas rules are enforced. We will be far more relaxed on forum rules in the non-specific areas of the forums, like General Discussion or FFA. Use the appropriate forum and you wont have any problems.
If you have a problem with another user, we suggest that you use the ignore feature, instead of lashing out at them in public. This is bad for all parties involved, not just who said what first. If you cannot hold back or use the ignore feature, we will have little sympathy. Take advantage of the abilities we have given you to moderate the forums as much for yourself as possible. This also includes using the Karma Voting (Thumbs Up or Thumbs Down) and reporting posts. If you do not like what was said by a user but don't feel like a ignore is necessary, vote it down. If you feel like they are breaking a major rule, use the report option.
Specifically for FAQ, Romo said it well on GLB1...

I love sarcasm and funny posts as much as the next guy, but these types of posts can often lead threads astray. When a user has come to the FAQ forum for an answer or help on a specific topic, these types of posts distract from the OP's need/desire. It's fine to include some of the sarcasm/snark elements into your posts, just not at full velocity and as a lone element.
With that being said:
Any post that is purely deconstructive to the original post and/or thread will be removed.
I am in no way "laying down the hammer" or requesting back seat moderating of posts that may be perceived as against this policy. This policy will be enforced very loosely and is more suggestive than anything. I have no intention of seeing the same users who assist the FAQ forum be warned/suspended.
Capiche? Sound fair?
Note: Posts that violate the forum rules will still be dealt with as the forum rules dictate.
This forum is intended to help people, not lead them down the wrong road or to troll.
