Yep, i have always wondered why they don't give home teams a mini helmet promo in the playoffs during conference play to make the regular season a little more important. With no promos in the title game.

I don't read much into week 1 but I do think both conferences have their fair share of solid and shit teams.

The results in Alpha shouldn't surprise anyone though. I have been knocking off the #1 team for seasons now. HHWC are 5 time WL champs. OPT is an Asau brethren. And spider played with himself.

Mini Helmet would be ridiculous. You get nachos and can use Home Town Hero already.

I doubt you'd see near as many upsets tbh, maybe mini football day?

Or maybe super nachos w/ +10 or soemthing, i like the idea of making the reg season more important, but a Mini Helmet day i think woudl almost eliminate upsets.....

It wouldn't "eliminate" upsets. But I really see no reason they should need such an advantage. They already have the advantage in the morale game and possible use of a VA giving them better energy and morale usage. That should be enough of an advantage against the bottom 4 in.

I do like GLB2's playoff system though of the top 2 teams getting a bye round. Maybe we should expand the WL to 8 divisions and only 6 teams make the playoffs in each conference.

Top 2 getting byes is nice, that should be happening

you guys sure do talk like there are going to be new changes coming to this game ever again

I just think there is a lot of parity. Maybe it is bc of general malaise or maybe build quality is similar or bc nthe sim is static now. 8 over 1 just doesn't feel like the upset it used to be.
