Again, these are loosely based on facts and largely based on opinion. You are welcome to agree, but this post would truly be boring if I had 15 posts all stating that the rankings were perfect.
Note *** This is the first week where I will show the previous week's ranking and it will show as (3). Newly ranked teams that were not raked the week previous will show (NR).
#1 Short Bus Window Lickers (1) - They have dominated two of the best teams in PW (TazVikes and Chicago Bears) in the first two weeks. LE has things clicking so far and it looks like this will be a tough team to beat. Of course, it looked that way last year tooooooo....
#2 Gold Test Squad (2) - Until they prove me wrong, I plan to stick with them. In the first two weeks they have beaten teams that won at least one playoff game last year. Despite their refusal to score more than 28, they seem to be rolling so far. However they have one of the toughest early season schedules and I can't imagine them coming out of that without a few losses.
#3 Fighting Gamecocks (4) - They beat the kids by about 1,400 points in week 1 and crushed the team that won gold in silver last year in week 2. So far this looks like a really dominant team and they have a bit of a break in the schedule for a bit so they could climb this ranking.
#4 All Pro Falcons (3) - They don't fall due to any reason other than the impressiveness of FG. They have beaten two decent opponents and looked really good doing it. I am thinking that A.I. is trying to revenge his first round playoff exit last year.
#5 Hired Guns (6) - They keep winning, however I wasn't as impressed this week as I was last week. No slight to Dub J's team, but I expected them to win by a bigger margin. The true test will be these next four games against (in order): SBWL, Flumps, Crib Midgets and GTS.
#6 Sir Flumps (NR) - They defeated a severely outleveled opponent in week 1 and beat a typically tough NOLA team in week 2. Flumps looks like a serious contender this season and the ranking shows it with a huge jump this week.
#7 TazVikes Nordica (7) - I can't give this team a bump for beating the Seals in week 2, however if I had to bet I'd say they don't finish outside the top 5 of this ranking by season's end.
#8 Chicago 85' Bears (5) - No shame in losing to SBWL, especially early in the season, but it does remind us that Gerr's squad is not invincible. I still expect at minimum a playoff appearance from this group.
#9 Royal Cocks (9) - Nice win against a tough opponent in week 2. I still think the Cocks have a lot to offer in season 36.
#10 Whodey's Experiment (NR) - This came down to WE or Minnesota Vikingz for me and I spent a long time deciding, however I ultimately gave this spot to WE because of their victory over Calico. Birdman always puts out a formidable team and I think a two touch down defeat of his group is well worth a spot in this ranking.
