*THIS IS NOT A THREAD TO LOBBY FOR YOUR PLAYERS*

Been thinking about how I want to do this, and I got an idea from another leauge.

I'd like 1 rep from each team to sign up here. Once that is established, I will create a ballot and PM it to each rep.

It will be that rep's responsibility to return that ballot to me by the deadline that I set.

I will have the ballot out in the next couple days (hopefully by Thursday or Friday).

The deadline will be BEFORE the first playoff games start. I will post a hard-deadline in this thread and mail it along with the ballot to the reps.

I'll try and make it as position specific as I can, and as easy as I can for the voters involved.

So, please, I need a team rep to sign up here. OWNERS/GM's, please find a volunteer from your team (or yourselves if u like) who can be non-partial and vote accordingly. Then please post that volunteer here, so that I can keep track and have the PM's ready to go by the weekend.

Thanks guys, should be fun.

Zeta Voters (by team)

Dallas Browns -
2 Edinburgh Black Knights -kgarlett
3 Glasgow Tigers -
4 Schiffertown Griffin's -
5 Oakton Huskies -
6 Sundsvall Flames -
7 Chaos Engine -
8 Tilburg Power -hb741
9 Middlesbrough Mayhem -
10 Milan Cock Fighters -
11 Trillville Hoods -
12 Icelandic Vikings -
13 South Beach Sharks -
14 Bonn Jovi -deceon
15 Belfast Shamrocks -
16 Jamaica Rumrunners -

I'm going to try and make it so that multiple players per position make the All-Pro teams. Once the final tally's are complete, we will have a true All-Pro team for each league, as voted on by player reps in each league.

I'm curious as to what your ballot selection process will be based on.

Will you be the only person generating the ballot? And if so, shouldn't we then all consider this "theone9933's All-Pro Team"?

An All-Pro Team vote has to be position specific. There's no reason to even question your ability to "try" and make it so.

Call me crazy but this format seems a bit totalitarian...o_O

It will be based on stats, and the ballot will include:

QB
top 6 players at the position
WR
Top 10 players at this position
RB
TOP 10 players
TE
Top 6
OT
Based on Pancakes and the number of times a qb gets hurried/sacked
top 10
OG
Based on Pancakes and the number of times a qb gets hurried/sacked
top 10
C
Based on Pancakes and the number of times a qb gets hurried/sacked
top 10

If that doesnt suit you then let me know

It definitely has to be position specific.

Perhaps instead of a ballot, the voters simply submit their choices for an All-Pro team, not letting them vote for anyone on their own squad. That way there is no arbitrary "ballot" that may or may not exclude someone that I or someone else thinks is worthy of getting a vote.

We submit a position specific team - 11 offensive and 11 defensive, + kicker, punter, and a special teams guy - and then we count those ballots and get our team of 25. We can do a second team as well, if you guys feel that recognizing only 1 HB and 1 QB isn't enough.

But position specific is a must.

Where's the FB position?

You're basing the offense on how many times the QB got hurried? - explain

Will there be an All-Pro Team Defense?

IMO - this could be better if the owners or reps submitted a top player from there own team for each position. Then once all of the players (16 players for each position) are submitted, the owners or reps can vote for the top 2 or 3 players for each position. The owner's or rep's votes cannot include the players from there own team.

Once that is done the moderator can tally all of the votes and release the final appointed Pro-Team Lineup. This will give us 1st & 2nd teams All-Pro w/ alternates.

This format will give every leet player a chance and, although it's a shit-load of work, it's really about the only way to do it.

I do like this idea though, let me know if this better fits the ballots

Agreed... Although this still leaves a chance that some of the top players could get overlooked - it still seems as though this could be the most efficient way...
