The name keeps changing for the former seattle storm team because the team was originally named the "Seattle Storm", an unfortunate and accidental reference to a WNBA team.
It was renamed to the Grey Mist because an admin found it to be in violation of the "no pro teams" rule. When the owner went to the boards to complain, he joked if he wanted a lame name, he'd name it the Kirkland Kerfuffle. The admins named his team the Kirkland Kerfuffle, and he again returned to the boards, pointing out that he didn't seriously want his team to be renamed to the Kirkland Kerfuffle. The moderator tpaterniti informed the Admins of the situation and allowed him to rename it to something he wanted.
So, that's how that all happened. It was a very amusing thread in the GLB Forums.
