Playoff pictures starting to form? More and more teams hoping for a miracle? Teams starting to boost for a late push?
Must be week 11!!

Matchups

Alpha

Knossos Minotaurs vs Fareham Demons
Despite their loss against a boosted Black Watch side, Knossos come into this game as favourites against a Fareham side recently edged by heavyweights Vice City. This should be a good match as Knossos' running game takes on the aerial attack of Fareham. Knossos have the stouter D, and should win a tough game.
Prediction: Knossos 17-10

Montcuq Beserker Trolls vs Yorkshire Knights
Whilst the Trolls contine to roll, the Knights present another tough challenge. Current form says the Trolls should dominate, but I wouldn't bet against Yorkshire causing an upset.
Prediction: Montcuq 27-13

Vice City Crack Whores vs London Royals
Royals and Crack Whores just don't mix, and this game is no different. Vice City outclass the Royals, whose hopes of making the playoffs have all but disappeared.
Prediction: Vice City 63-3

Seville Naranjas vs Barcelona Razorbacks
Seville enter the easier part of their schedule, with Barcelona being one of the tougher teams they are left to face. The Naranjas may fancy their chances of winning out, but Barca have the talent to cause problems.
Prediction: Seville 30-7

Black Watch vs Dorset Stampede *Alpha Game of the Day*
Edges Trolls/Knights for GOTD, as both teams need a big victory here to show their caliber for the playoffs. Both teams run first, and have tough D-units, but Black Watch come into the game high after a win over formerly unbeaten Knossos.
Prediction: Black Watch 54-17

Hamburg Likedeeler vs Rennes Corsairs
Hamburg are challenging for one of the lower playoff spots, and come up against a tough Rennes team who cause problems for top level teams. My gut says Rennes, but the generator says otherwise.
Prediction: Hamburg 21-7

Messina Blazers vs Dublin Destroyers
Messina face a Dublin team on the verge of relegation - and should come up trumps with another 'W' if they are to keep any slim playoff hopes alive.
Prediction: Messina 24-6

Belfast Super Crues vs Ahlen Aces
Both teams without wins - a clash of relegation prospects, the result here could have huge implications at the bottom of the league. Both teams have changed ownership and are rebuilding.
Fact of the day: Both teams have scored just 3 points between them thus far.
Prediction: Belfast 3-0

Zeta

Stirling Crusaders vs Bergen Black Bears *Zeta Game of the Day*
The Crusaders march on after a victory over the Blicas, and face an angry Bergen team with a point to prove.
Prediction: Stirling 34-10

Spaniard Quebrantaguesos vs FF-FD Satellite
FF-FD lost to Glasgow last week - Spaniard are much better, but the Satellites like a brawl. Still, Spaniard should fly.
Prediction: Spaniard 47-10

Munchen The Fearless Lion vs Yorkshire Rippers
Tight game - the Rippersare improving, but face a seasoned Munchen side reeling from 2 losses.
Prediction: Munchen 21-14

Wales Whales vs Berlin Thunder
Wales continued to prove their caliber in Zeta with a good win over Munchen, whilst Berlin went down to a good Bath team. Wales seem to have the greater talent here.
Prediction: Wales 40-9

Bath Killer Bees vs Glasgow Manglers
Glasgow got their first victory last week, unfortunately, this game looks like it will send them back to losing ways. Bath's sting proves lethal here.
Prediction: Bath 31-6

Lyon Loups *LFU* vs Turin Blue Jays
Turin are improving, and have narrowly lost their last games. Still, Lyon look like they prove too tough, and stay in the playoff hunt.
Prediction: Lyon 21-17

Antwerp Jokers vs St Michael Blicas
Underacheiving Antwerp face a Blicas side with a lot of fight. Antwerp look like they have the experience and caliber to pass this test, and stay in the race for a meaningful post-season.
Prediction: Antwerp 17-10

Copenhagen Armadillos vs Hjorring Rhinos
Neither team looks like making the playoffs, so this game looks like it will be played for pride. Only time you'll ever see an Armadillo take down a Rhino.
Prediction: Copenhagen 17-9

Sure hope Black Watch can't put 54 on us!! Should be a low scoring game, two running teams with tough Ds - could be a battle of kickers, but since the boost, Black Watch look like they could win out.

Still, according to the generator we only beat the London Royals from now on!

Black Watch drop 54 on Dorset? Wow, Montcuq only managed 23 against a very tough and talented Stampede defense. Black Watch would have to be considered extremely dangerous if they manage that!

I suspect that the Knossus game has seriously skewed the set-up.

I think it's more the fact that Dorset are yet to play the majority of tough teams, whilst BW have played a few.
Basically, the generator sees BW as having a tougher schedule thus far, and, yes the fact that they beat Knossos does give them the extra factor in the math - but no doubt the Stampede are underdogs here.

Generator cannot take into account boosting, gutting, rebuilding

Personally, I'd predict that neither Dorset nor Black Watch top 27 points. My guess, 16-13 either way.

As for Montcuq-Yorkshire, a tough one but Knossos look like they could go all the way - a win for Yorkshire would really open up the top spots.

Aye I think the BW/Dorset prediction is a bit skewed. they're both mighty tough teams, im not going to make a prediction except to say the best kicker may win the game.

PS while I agree that Royalty and Whores don't - nowadays - mix, I dont think we'll score 60 on london; I think theyre turning themselves around nicely.

Wow, yeah, can't think of any way Black Watch puts up 54 on Dorset. Should be a good gme for everyone to watch though.

How many times has the Watch been the game of the week? Does that mean we're under performing?

Well, I'm just hoping we can keep it close, maybe edge it, but you guys are a challenge and a half!

As for being in the game of the week, just means you've been involved in some pivotal games recently!

I demand a recount.

The Crue should have no issues posting yet another blank sheet against the Aces.

0-0.

Thanks!
