Hopefully more close games than last week. Aarhus vs. Live Oak (FG haven)?

I think Frankfurt will beat Nuremberg personally, and I hope we beat Barcelona. If we do then we have a real shot at 11th place. I know it's not much, but hey, it's better than 12th!

I'm really interested a lot by this 2:

Bushy Park over Barcelona

I think Barcelona have chances to win, but i bet on Bushy Park by 7

Nuremburg over Frankfurt

I know the 2 teams, Frankfurt will win by 10!

Can't wait to watch Ballers v Cardinals, I would have given Cards slight edge until we found out Ballers all actually know each other, that has to be considered a huge advantage if a guy starts slacking about logging in and you can just call him to sort it out. I imagine the communication advantages inherent in having so many RL friends on one team will ensure Ballers continue to get better each season (scary)

Trust me our players are close knit group. We may not know each other well in real life but this team gels very well. Actually we have a 2 headed monster QB situation just like the real Cardinals last season before Matt Leinart went down. One QB is owned by me and the other QB is owned by a good friend of mine.

seriously I don't see that huge of a advantage to knowing each other IRL, at this level its all about player builds and Depth!

if Menamino had a team of people he had never met, it would be less likely that they would heed his advice on getting the builds straight, and guys you really know are much less likely to just dip without warning, and if you have a cat's cell phone number, you can nag him more effectively when he goes inactive for a week without telling anyone..

and I was mostly talking about 2 or 3 seasons from now, when teams have suffered roster losses and he still knows everyone.

Also since menamino knows his entire team, none of us are gonna leave for more money.

(sorry....been a little busy)

Game of the Week:

Bonn Dynamo VS. West Country Wyverns

Overview:

-Bonn has been on a tear since their rocky start. Seven straight wins while holding the competition to 23 points shows Bonn is firing on all cylinders. A win over West Country will put Bonn on top of alpha's elite.

-West Country has put together a five game win streak with their biggest win coming over the new powerhouse Toulouse Aviators. The Wyverns need this win in order to prove that they are a legitimate, and not just another one hit hero.

Prediction:

This will be a low scoring defensive battle. Bonn's defense has been playing extremely well all season, and I don't see this game being the exception. Dynamo should be able to hold West Country's conservative offense in check, and give it's offense plenty of field time. On the other hand, West Country's defense, led by nasty DE Ryan O'Callahan, will need to show up big, and help keep their offense on the field in order to have any chance of winning. My prediction, I think Bonn will make a late 4th quarter surge to pull out the win. Bonn has too much talent to lose this game.

Bonn Dynamo by 3
