Okay, did someone lock and unlock a thread from 2009 or something just to screw with us? I can't get the damn "New" logo to go away for the WL Forum from the main Forum page.

It's when they move threads. I forbid the practice back in 2010 but it looks like the wheels have come off this operation since then.

It's haunting me in my dreams, mocking all that I deem holy.

That's the thread causing the problem because it was moved to the Mod Forum Thread Graveyard.

It won't. There's no way to get rid of the "new" flag if the thread was still flagged as "new" for you when it got moved.

That actually worked for me, too. Well done. So in the future, new protocol for mods is if you move a thread to the graveyard you have to post a new thread here with a link to that thread for the OCD among us.

So, is this the first confirmed case of jdbolick being wrong about something? We might need to mark that on the calendar for history's sake.
