I'm planning on starting up a new rookie team in Season 34, the second incarnation of a team I used to run called Genesis Machine. While I run the offense and defense for my other team, the Las Vegas White Tigers, my primary area of expertise is in organization and recruiting. As such, I would like to take a management-focused role in this new team, and would like to hire the best support staff possible. I am doing this now so as to, in conjunction with the staff, develop a comprehensive plan to build an outstanding team from the ground up. This will be a boosting team with long-term goals.
The requirements for all of these positions are sufficient time to devote to the job long-term, and a proven track record at competitive levels of the game. Please send me a PM if you are interested. Here are the job descriptions:
1. Head Coach: The primary skill necessary is an expertise in player building. This will also require versatility, as the OC and DC will have primary control over their respective schemes, and thus the Head Coach must be able to develop a build plan for whichever type of player the OC or DC deems necessary for their scheme to operate. Additionally, the Head Coach will also assist me in recruiting players, both initially and in the event replacements may be necessary. The primary responsibility, though, will be in developing build plans, monitoring build progress, and reminding players to take such actions as upgrading equipment. Interpersonal skills are a plus. Please provide me with an explanation of your general philosophy as to player builds, training, and equipment, and any relevant past experiences that reflect your ability to do the job.
2. Offensive Coordinator: The offensive coordinator will have full control over the offensive scheme. Once this staff is assembled, the offensive coordinator will determine the types of players necessary for us to recruit. The offensive coordinator will also have final say over offensive player tactics, and will coordinate with the Head Coach in developing offensive players. Additionally, the OC will have the authority to hired any and all assistants and/or scouts he deems necessary. The OC must also have sufficient time to gameplan as necessary for specific opponents. Please provide me with an overview of your offensive philosophy, as well as any relevant past experiences that reflect on your ability to do the job.
2. Defensive Coordinator: The defensive coordinator will have full control over the defensive scheme. Once this staff is assembled, the defensive coordinator will determine the types of players necessary for us to recruit. The defensive coordinator will also have final say over defensive player tactics, and will coordinate with the Head Coach in developing defensive players. Additionally, the DC will have the authority to hired any and all assistants and/or scouts he deems necessary. The DC must also have sufficient time to gameplan as necessary for specific opponents. Please provide me with an overview of your defensive philosophy, as well as any relevant past experiences that reflect on your ability to do the job.
