This season, for whatever reason, I have faced teams with punters twice and teams without punters four times.

90% of those punts go about 15 yards and are given a fair catch even though the nearest defender is blocked and overmatched. Teams have had centers or OTs making these punts. One team just didn't punt at all.

You allow a kick return depth slider to allow the choice to be more aggressive on kick returns, give us a choice on punt returns.

Just make the fumble chance like five times higher in the first three ticks after the catch to punish under use of the fair catch rule. This makes sense as the ball isn't under control right away. Maybe make a carrying roll or something to secure the ball quicker.

For people who don't want to risk the fumble, they can keep the slider maxed out to call fair catch more often. It is a win for everyone, as it allows STs coordinators the flexibility to be more conservative against stronger FF teams and more aggressive against teams who don't do well against the return.

i was thinking the same thing the other day as i watched fair catch after fair catch. another issue is that even a non punter should be getting longer punts IRL than in glb.
