Heh, might as well strike while the tempers are at their height and people are trying to knock us. Hell, it's even a good piece of free scouting -- or a public advisory. The Zombies defense has been absurdly good all season long. As an entire unit. But our rush defense has to be amongst the best in the entire game. Obviously, based amongst leagues. We don't have anything talent wise on some of the Pro Leagues but against like competition, we definitely have to be rated high.

It took 8 games before our rush defense gave up a CUMULATIVE 100 yards. Not a 100-yard rusher... but we're talking, it took eight teams and 37 different ball carriers before all of them combined could reach 100 yards against our defense. And we've went against some good rushing teams, too.

Our stats to date?

168 rushes, 143 yards, 0.85 YPC and 2 rushing TD's.

Nine teams, 41 ball carriers, and that's what they've put up against our run defense. Today was our biggest test by far. The Sandstorm came into the game averaging 162 yards per game on the ground.

Against Zambia, on Sandstorm turf, their running game was reduced to 28 yards on 28 carries.

Call it arrogant. Call it cocky. But my man VF has a right to be proud of his defensive unit. We've put up some magnificent numbers this season and we've totally shut down opponents running games. The stats speak for themselves.

Good performance though - I hope we get to play each other although there are a lot of good teams between now and then.

Trust me, I know that a 1,000 wins and the best stats in the world doesn't amount to a hill of beans without the championship. I'm not saying this makes us the best team, either. It just seems a few people -- well, ok, one team in particular -- likes to post lately that nothing about our team is impressive. Well, I think our rush defense is incredibly impressive. Not that our pass defense or offenses are slouches. Our secondary is extremely good too and in fact, our safeties stuff the run fairly often too.

I mainly posted this for the haters in the crowd. You'd have to be incredibly daft to not see at least one thing impressive about the Zombies. That also goes for all of the other great teams in our league. Like I said, it doesn't make us the best team and the surefire champions... but for some of these people to say we've done nothing impressive? I'd like to point them to our rush defense as exhibit A.

Also, I've been on so many poorly ran teams with my players. Payne in particular. I'm finally on a good team, in a good system and so that just adds to the joy. Heh.

our run defense is good, but it's not great. running game is kinda tough in this game the higher leveled you get.

personally, I let me play on the field do my talking, so I suck.

Sahara has the best...sorry. Zero TD's given up. Your D is good but if it can't keep runners out the end zone it doesn't matter.

Cant keep runners out of the end-zone?? let me see, Sahara allowed a 3-6 team 387 yards, and 23 points.........hmmmmmmmmm, maybe they walked into the end Zone.....or when a team can pass on you, they dont need to run.............???

I really don't know where all the smack talking came from...are the Zombies very good? Of course, duh! However that's not disrespect to Mighty Zulu Nation, Sandstorm, Mountainmen, Charlie, the Leathernecks or the other teams in Elephant that could beat us on any given sim. Heck, that's not even talking about the four or five teams in Lion that are as equally good.

Like I said before I am really scared of you guys. I am glad we don't have to play you guys unless we both met in the championship game.

if zambia has the best rush defence ever the woolsheds must have the 2nd best rush defence ever
