Pretty competitive. Most the teams people figured would make the playoffs look to be in the driver's seat though so not many surprises. HHWC and HOOD just need coordinators with time but still might make the playoffs anyways.
I guess Kosovo Kryptonite probably the biggest surprise. They were good team but i had just not heard a lot about them coming into the season and they don't have a freakish EL like newcomers south bend or smooth criminals. They just rattled off 3 straight to get in good playoff shape

The care level is a little soft compared to "days of yore" but the level of dot quality across the league is amazing.

I think the level of dot quality across the league has been suppressed by the nature of random checks and events. Most of the rushing yards recorded are artificial from Bort's vision checks rather than builds actually making a bunch of plays. Passing yards are very little recorded based on scouting (minus some of CerNet's RQB shows during the season) but hopes for long fake TD's.
To me dot quality seems to be very little the story over the past couple of seasons to a degree.

And really I don't think there is a whole lot one can do about that at this point without completely wiping out the advancement of archetypes with all the extra SP's. That was the straw that kinda broke the sims back.

more about who has the dots that can be molded the most when they get to WL. In comparison that have teams with dots that got up here set in stone.

I know it seems like I'm full of bitterness and what not, but much of the sim was better than last season. Certainly some things are better this season like O-line/D-line interaction... but a large chunk of this sim just seems like builds are irrelevant.

i agree 100%. The extra SPs really set everything out of whack.

Ya but its not even really that. There just isn't a whole lot of playmaking on either side that you would throw in a highlight reel. It is more having to do with oh that SS missed a vision check so he stood in place for 5 seconds and that allowed such and such to run for 8 yards instead of 2. Or a missed/made check made this dot blitz which allowed the HB to have the outside with no containment and he got an easy 5-10 yards instead of a loss of yardage.
It all just seems like a big RNG game for DC's and OC's just play the numbers game. Does anyone realistically scout out for single coverage anymore? It all just seems to be a waste of time.
Obviously builds aren't "irrelevant" (says 99% of National Pro)....but I think we have just come to a common place of builds are very little the difference between making great plays or not in the WL and thus it is mostly boring.
