Is the WL not as good as last season? Or what. I thought coming into the season that zeta and the WL in general was looking like it was going to be much tougher than last season.

Yea zeta has a slouch or 2 but still it was going to be tough as shit. Smooth and South Bend are as good as I thought they were but thats it. again in Zeta.

Mean Machine is decent.

RHCP made the playoffs last season, this season they're 2-8. That alone tells you at least something about the quality of WL this season vs. last.

thats just one team, they may just be having bad luck right now. or had really good luck last season. I still dont know what to think of mean machine. i dont think they are really good, but thats because i cant take a 6th DS team seriously.

But outside of RHCP who are an up and down WL team anyways, I dont think they have ever been in the WL more than 2 season, just sayin for arguments sake.

HOOD is 5-5 so it's tougher. Last few seasons I didn't need to do anything. This season I'm going to have to start doing something. So imo this is the toughest it's been in about 3 or 4 seasons.

I will say for us, whatever (relative) success we had was based on effort. This season, RL whipped our coordinators' and my ass to the point that we really were not ready. It showed. Most teams in the WL, but especially ours, simply have no margin for that kind of stuff.

all that said, its a talented league this season. more so than last season in my opinion.

GLB is dead.

2 games separate 1st and 11th in zeta. no team is even close to clinching a playoff spot yet. seems pretty tough to me.
