It looks like more and more NB/NC teams are earning their way in, at what point would the teams that do boost and buy custom follow suit? Or would there always be team's that say oden it and just do it for the lolgold?

It's a mixture of a lot of agents have a lot of flex and just want to spend it and then there is another major reason. If pee wee teams stopped boosting altogether then why would Bort see the need to keep Pee Wee around taking up a good bit of server space? If all of Pee Wee became no/no then Bort would get rid of Pee Wee and tell us all to just create a no/no league in rookie or wherever which isn't what most people here want.
So in short, Pee Wee will never become no/no
Edit: Also just imo winning Gold in Pee Wee gold by no means has become a lolgold. Pee Wee Gold might have a lolregular season now but when it comes playoff time the best of the best are still going at it.

Next season I will have my primary Gold team that will be going hardcore, with boosters. And then I will also have a NB/NC team that will be in Silver unless they win their league this season and make it into Gold as well.
Both ways can be fun............I wouldnt want to eliminate either way of playing, tbh.
I like having the choice to own 2 Pee Wee teams and run both completely different like that.
And those NB/NC teams are no joke, either. There are a couple that are so good, the average team would need to be boosted, just to compete
Honestly I bet alot of those NB/NC teams like the chance to knock off a powerhouse boosting club anyways.
So yes there will always be boosting in all of pee wee, not just Gold.......imo

I guess I just miss the old days when people waited til playoffs to boost. I usually get my team full of people who will boost if they have or people who want to train all season and boost late for a slight edge.

it has its benefits tho............now you feel like you get more out of your pee wee boosting, getting the whole season (I know I do)
and as an owner/coach...... you know what you have for a team, right away........no longer a worry that a new agent will miscalculate or over-commit their flex or any of the other various possibilities that can arise from the time a player agrees to boost, until the end of the season when boosting time actually comes, lol
I know even as an owner, I like having my flex for the season sorted out early
I know the thing I always hated most about pee wee, was that I only got 1-4 games out of my boost, and they were all playoff games......and if you lose, it really felt like a waste of money. At least for someone re-doing pee wee dots. I'm sure plenty of the pee wee people have had that feeling after a tough loss, 2 days after spending a large amount to boost, lol.
This way you get the whole season out of your boosted dot, at least.....

I do like the advanced player development, the more levels the better. With that said I do prefer the old system of daily xp being different for all the levels. It was kind of a nice trade off, boost early for an early season level advantage or boost really late and try and get a level up on your opponent in the championship game.

Well I know i speak for some people here...maybe not all. I've watched the sim change season to season. Teams adjust accordingly. Agents drop out due to a plethora of reasons. The continual debates and gripes in the forums which has always existed as long as Pee Wee has existed. I have seen the league structure change twice. We all face the same challenges at the end of the day
Bottom line is that people are getting out...bored with it or they find some new game to play. Pee Wee isnt even what it was 6 months ago. I think people get bored more than anything...just my personal opinion. Pee Wee also costs money which is a driving factor if you want to boost and get CE....much cheaper than it used to be but still a cost.
Pee Wee doesnt get the personal attention we think it deserves. Its not the money maker so we are on the back burner. We have found our place on the food chain.
I still love playing it and giving it my all but in all reality.....if something better comes along and grabs my attention....Crib could very well dissolve when that happens....I just roll with the punches and try to adapt and keep my enthusiasm.
All you pee wee owners and enthusiasts is what keeps me coming back.

I hated that old system. It made me feel like boosting was worthless, but now the boosts last the whole season. On the other hand, I can see how the new system basically made non-boosting teams much harder to manage.

Playing versus boosted teams is primarily frustrating; especially in the situations where a WR/TE/HB simply breaks away and your guys simply can't catch up. I look at that and just think "Yep, that's the speed equipment and boosting right there." Especially if it's a close game and I feel I would have legitimately won otherwise. I can be a little snippy when that happens.
I was so sad when they switched it to let teams boost early. There's a huge difference between a level 4 team and a level 1, simply in the ratio of skill points they have available. 8 vs 5 is also bad because of the equipment difference. Really, 11 vs 8 through 15 vs 12 are the the "best" matchups I can hope for, and really the only time I hope to beat a good boosted team.
Then 16 vs 13 (championship) sucks again because of equipment. :/ Really makes me wish gold was an odd-day league.

I guess that's why we have copper.
That NB/nc league should really try to take over a copper league

Bort is not going to wipe PW just because people stopped boosting and buying CE. We're talking about the same guy that waited season, after season, after season to kill off non-boosters. This game will be long in the grave before Bort would ever get around to wiping PW due to lack of flex spent.

The early boosting is what made me stop competing in Gold. We could afford it for a couple seasons but that was it. without boosting I use to be able to sometimes make the playoffs. If we got all the boosting teams before week 7 we could be competitive that far. Then we would just need around 4 more wins or so to get in. It seemed impossible playing boosted teams right out of the gate. It was fun playing with the accelerated dots though.
It would be cool to have a league like nbnc but a yes/yes. Would be sort of like Gold use to be. I just don't think there are even 32 yes/yes teams in peewee anymore.

There aren't. For maybe the first time I can remember, the majority of the teams in my silver tourney were non-boost, non-custom, whether they were in LE's league or not. Then you have teams like my GTS silver team, which is yes/yes in theory, but not everybody actually boosts. It would be nice to have a league with 32 boosted teams in order to really see who is the best gameplanner and player builder. Also, the other problem is that I feel like boosted teams have a larger advantage than they used to. I remember that in gold's early days it was not uncommon for an early boosted team to lose to a late boosted one. I was on both sides of that scenario a few times. However, when the sim changed to reduce the effectiveness of running, that made it very hard for non-boost teams to manage for some reason.
