I miss the old days when people waited for the playoffs, that way only the teams who had a chance had to boost..
Thats the one thing this new player building system screwed for pee wee.

I agree with this to an extent. While I agree that the old way was better, I would think that the majority of the teams that do still boost, are in fact those teams that would have "had a chance" before. In other words, the teams that would have not made the playoffs with the old system (and would have decided not to boost), probably aren't boosting now either.
I try to hold off on boosting as many players as I can. Boendpy boosted their whole offense and DE's against me, so I boosted my O-Line (not completely) and running backs to keep a steady run game and keep their boosted O off the field as much as possible. Boosted all of my CB's (which needed to be done anyway considering I still feel like there is a big passing trend nowadays in higher level pee wee), and some pass rush/coverage related positions a little so I could keep up on defense.
What I'm trying to say is that you can tactically boost when you need to, not just everyone automatically. But hey it's gold, anything goes. Some people have money to put into this game and take it more seriously than others. I haven't had the time to be as active in the community as I'd like to be, so for instance it's really hard for me to put a team together and fill a roster with competent agents. I still think that the overall "marketplace" system that is in place is really inefficient at getting new players truly involved and educated in the game to the point that they themselves can start to contribute. LordEvil did some really cool stuff in the past that I remember when it came to community drafts of the sort in which you donated players and got to participate. Teams who otherwise wouldn't have been able fill rosters received high quality agents who they could interact with and learn the game.
Just my two cents/novel. I don't speak up much 'round here, but I hate seeing people say pee wee is dead, pointless, or fail in any way. I've enjoyed pee wee for years now, and I think if there were more positive influences like Gerr and LE in the community you would see the competitive nature "come back" to pee wee so to speak. It wouldn't hurt for some revamping by the powers at be that make changes to the game, either.
