Week 9 is rolling in and we're starting to find out who is fo' realz and who isnt!

Zeta Game of the Week
Volograd Berserks(7-1) vs Grodno Buckaroos (6-2)
Both teams have been questioned to this point because they hadn't played anyone very good yet. Well they both had their test last week and both got beat, Volograd coming off their first loss to a Hat Creek team who is showing up the Undefeated teams and Grodno got beat by an angry Warsaw. This game should be a true test of who is fo' realz and who is not. As much as I think Volograd is good, my gut is telling me Grodno wins this one.
Prediction: 26-21 (Grodno)

London Head Hunters (9-0) vs. Subotica Scorpions (0-9)
New England vs Miam Dolphins lolz
Prediction: 63-6 (London)
Actual: 53-0 (Subotica)

The Look (6-2) vs. Hat Creek Cattle Co. (6-2)
Hat Creek is coming off 2 big wins over two undefeated team. Hat Creek is now no longer under a radar and teams are going to start taking them more seriously. The Look just came off a loss to a Tricity team that has been underrated all year. I see Hat Creek taking a game in a defensive battle
Prediction: 17-13 (Hat Creek)

Chernobyl Radionuclides(5-3) vs. Tricity Hares (3-5)
Tricity is not a team to over "look", just ask "The Look". But trust me this Chernobyl team is on a mean 5 game streak and leaving opponents in the dust, but, they were easy teams. So this is a test for the Radionuclides. I just have this great feeling for Tricity, they have been winning from their defense and I see them doing that again in a close battle.
Prediction: 9-6 (Tricity)

St. Petersburd Storm (6-2) vs. Sydney Tire Irons (1-7)
st. Petersburg has one of the toughest Defenses in Zeta and Sydney's D isnt so bad for a 1-7 team. This will be who can put points on the board and I think that will be the Storm.
Prediction: 17-0 (St. Petersburg)

C-town Hoodlums(1-7) vs. Prague Panthers(2-6)
These two teams don't have much of a different record. But it's pretty obvious that Prague is better than C-town. Prague will get their 3rd win.
Prediction: 17-6 (Prague)

Longreach Wildcats (0-8) vs. Carluke Cobras(2-6)
Longreach has yet to win a game yet. Carluke has won a couple. Longreach gave me my only wrong prediction last week. I got a feeling Carlukes gonna take this one early and Longreach is gonna try and comeback but recover too late
Prediction: 21-13 (Carluke)

Warsaw Warriors (7-1) vs. Haguenau Coyotes(4-4)
Warsaw blew Grodno off the map and I dont see Haguenau getting any special treatment. Sorry Coyotes you met the Warriors too late.
Prediction: 52-12 (Warsaw)

NOW on to Alpha (i dont know a lot about alpha (yet) so i will be wrong a lot)


Alpha Game of the Week
Lowell Bengal Tiger(8-0) vs Moscow Vandals (6-2)
Lowell is a favor in this game and any game they will be coming into from here on out (Unless some serious $#%@ happens!). But you can never overlook a 6-2 team especially if you're LBT. Which is why I think this is LBT's game. Although Moscow has a good D. I see LBT taking this one in one of there "Closest games" so far.
Prediction: 27-3 (LBT)

Minsk Ninjas (7-1) vs. Charleston Roadwarriors (3-5)
Minsk has blown over everyone in their path besides LBT. While Charleston has been on a 3 game winning streak against some of the bottom half of Alpha. I dont see Minsk slowing down now!
Prediction: 46-13 (Minsk)

Krakow Cows(7-1) vs. London Dolphins (0-8)
Similiar to the Miami Dolphins the London Dolphins havent had much luck. ALTHOUGH! Miami has lost some pretty close games to some decent teams. Although I dont see their losing streak ending tomorrow. Krakow is gonna take this one. Mooo!
Prediction: 24-3 (Krakow)

Moscow Bears (6-2) vs. Tallaght Outlaws (4-4)
Tallaght has been pretty inconsistent and Moscow has been pretty good so far. Not much to say about this one should be a pretty decent game though, not a blowout
Prediction: 31-17 (Moscow)

Fehérvár Enthroners (5-3) vs. Florida Buccaneers (1-7)
Enthroners and Buccaneers are squaring off in a game that is looking to be a dominant win by the Enthroners but not a blowout. I am an Atlanta Falcons fan so I don't think I could find it in me to pick the Bucs to win.
Prediction: 24-10 (Enthroners)

Texas Aggies (5-3) vs. Warsaw Cossacks (2-6)
Aggies fighting for a playoff spot and Warsaw would need a pretty big spark to get in, starting with this game. Its not July 4th yet and I don't see a spark coming out of Warsaw anytime soon. But I do see a real close game like Texas has been in all year
Prediction: 24-17 (Texas)

NISSA Dauphins (4-4) vs. International Players(2-6)
From what I've learned about Alpha is that some of the teams are very inconsistent and its very top heavy. Same goes for NISSA, and International just beats teams that they can get close to. NISSA is definently the better team though so they better win for my records sake!
Prediction: 24-9 (NISSA)

Bratislava Vampires (2-6) vs. Leicester Lynxes (2-6)
This game is gonna be who can score first and then hold the other team the rest of the way. I see the Vampires taking a close one early.
Prediction: 14-3 (Bratislava)

26-21? Nobody's ever put up 26 on us. Not even when they intercept us 5 times.

You gave up 20 to Hat Creek and Grodno beat them. Wait until you get through the tough part of the schedule before you start bragging how great your D is. You guys are only 3rd in PPG allowed in conference and have played the easiest schedule so far of anyone. Doesn't look like you've proven much to me. I think you have a good D, but still have a lot to prove this season.

I'm including last season as well. We played some pretty good teams last year. We held Odessa to 13 points (the best any D did against them). I am aware that Hat Creek put up 20 against us, but that was still impressive considering that we threw 5 interceptions. I don't think that I was chest pumping when I just pointed out the fact that no team has been able to score that much against us. We may be unproven so far, but we are a team that won a playoff game last season. How did your squad fair last season?

The D is Solid no doubt.

Man Predicting the Cobras for a win I love that, We started badly last season and finished really really strongly but this year we've started badly and It doesn't seem to get much better hope your right we seem to have them well matched!

It will be a good game no doubt though. Both teams are allot different then they were last year.

Yeah y'all kicked our butts last season. I argued the predicted score that Atlanta put up last week, and he was off by more than 50% on the point differential. It should be a great game, but I believe 26 is a tall order. Kudos to Grodno if they can pull it off.

I'm not pissed. Just messing with you. It felt like one smart-assed comment deserved another. I'm really looking forward to our game against you. You guys really shut us down last season, but that was really before we had much of the current roster in place. Will be interesting to see the matchup now. Good luck against Grodno tomorrow.

I'm looking forward to it too. I think London and Warsaw are still the toughest teams in the conference, and there's a lot of parity between Hat Creek, Grodno, St. Pete and us. It'll be interesting to see who comes out on top at the end. I still think that any of these teams have a pretty good chance of coming out w/ a championship. I also wouldn't want to be a #1 or #2 seed and have to play Tricity in the playoffs. Those guys have a great chance of being a dark horse. I think they have a great chance of going 7-1 to close out the season, so they might even be higher than a #7 seed.

No way, you beat us last year. we want to try to even up the series It is much more fun this year without odessa. Seeing as they are undefeated in AAA, I dont think any of us had much of a chance last year.

Zeta is a lot of fun and really competitive this season. A bunch of teams have shown that they can win any given week which is a welcome break from last season when Odessa ran over the league. I don't think anyone's underestimating Tricity - we all know just how good you guys can be when you get going.
