Work is slow, so typed this EAST overview up with my predicted rankings. The East is very week this season due to a large amount of CPU and No/No teams, so any boosting team is all but assured a playoff spot...

1. Chicago Window Licking Bears - a merge of the Chicago 85'Bears and the Shortbus Window Lickers. LE's offense and Gerr's defense on one team! Clearly the early favorite to represent the EAST in the championship game.

2. Fighting Gamecocks - jkid2's return to the East puts his team in a favorable position as the East is very weak this season. One of the few teams that can challenge the CWLB and it would not be far fetched if they pull the upset and end up representing the East in the championship game.

3. Baytown Bulldogs - with the loss of legster, I don't think this team will be one of the elite teams of the East this season, but the Bulldogs are still a very good team pending they follow their past history and go full/full and thus should have no problem getting a high to middle seed.

4. Sons Of Anarchy - a full boost, but no CEQ team that should do well this season. Made the playoffs last season when the East was very tough, should be a high to mid seed this season and could surprise some pending on how much they improve.

5. Coastal Empire Pirates - a returning gold team that should be full/full and should do well. Should be in the hunt for a middle seed.

6. Hardly Athletic - had a good 1st season in Gold in a very hard East last season and just missed the playoffs. If they do go full/full, should easily make the playoffs as a middle seed.

7. The Portland T-Rex - Not sure if they will be a full/full team or not, but if they are, they should make a good showing their 1st season in gold by making the playoffs. If they are No/No, then wont make the playoffs, but won't be demoted either.

8. D-Town Demolition - Not sure if they will be a full/full team or not, but if they are, they should make a good showing their 1st season in gold by making the playoffs. If they are No/No, then wont make the playoffs, but won't be demoted either.

9. Dallas "SBWL" Cowboyz - No/No team.
10. Tennessee Titanz - No/No team.
11. Cleveland BrownZ - No/No team.
12. Maine Grenadiers - CPU team.
13. Lunch Box - CPU team.
14. Tampa Bucz - CPU team
15. Horseshoes Of Steel - CPU team
16. Spurbury Evil Shenanigans - CPU team.

Baytown is cpu?

I don't think Tampa Bay or Cleveland will be CPU but they will be like my Dallas team a no/no team

If a team has no players on it as of today or has only CPU players, all I can do is presume it will be a CPU team. If someone has different info, please post it. But if those teams do go No/No, then it will take them out of demotion contention, but unlikely will effect the playoff picture.

I expect some of the CPU teams to field a team prior to the start of the season, I just made mine yesterday

I hope so, would much rather play a No/No team than a CPU team. Plus some No/No teams might get some upsets against this season against some boosted teams.

Updates...

Tampa Bucz - neither DM nor DE have any unsigned level 1 players, so unless they plan on making them soon, my prediction of a CPU team is looking more and more likely.

Cleveland BrownZ - looks like ESB is starting to populate the team with his players, so changed this team to a No/No team.

Baytown Bulldogs - the owner has a lot of unsigned level 1 players, plus another GM is starting to populate the defense. Don't know if they will be a No/No or Full/Full or somewhere in between, so changed them to a full/full team considering what they have done in previous seasons.

This was a pre-season preview...Not sure how you can say that without actually being here this season. They only lost two games and started off 14-0 in the regular season. They ended up in the top 5 in the league behind only the two teams that beat them in the regular season.

Exactly, was a pre-season preview. I wasn't expecting SoA to be as good as they were, they just had my team's number this season. Had my Bears faced FGC, probably would have been a flip of a coin due to how close our first game was. And ya, it was a disappointing ending to a season that I thought my Bears team could run the tables. Just didn't happen, oh well, starting to prep for next season.
