My Chicago 85'Bears & LE's Shortbus Window Lickers have merged. The new team is the Chicago Window Licking Bears and is a complete mix of the two teams, their coaching staff, and agents.

My Bears team is the new merged team and LE's team is now his No-No team. Should make for an interesting S26...

Gold league is going to be cut in half as far as competitive teams go

Maine, Shy Town, SBWL, and Cleveland all gone

Chiefs as well. Just too expensive to support half a boosted team every season. With the lack of really good builders , its hard to justify the flex.

I knew about Shy-Town and SBWL, but didn't know Maine, Cleveland, and now the Chiefs. Will make for an easy East in S26 with that many No-No or CPU teams. Should also give the newer teams a better shot and not going 1&done in Gold.

Well this is it for me and I’m quitting PW altogether so you don’t need to worry about any ninja season planning from me in the future. This is my fifth gold title, enough is enough.

I only had two seasons anyway. Jackson was planning on quitting last season but I thought I owe him after screwing him up last season by refusing to put any points in pump fakes. So he came back for one last season.

I was thinking about taking full control in S26 as my final comeback with Maine but 68guns came up with an offer I couldn’t refuse. I never had a luxury of owning all the players so it was a blast and the communication was great to a point where I felt like I had full control of his players.

It’s a great feeling to know that I can set individual tactics the way I want on game to game basis and based on our schemes. We also had at least 15 build plan changes, another luxury you don’t have with multi-agent teams.

Funny part is we played with a 35 man type roster up until playoff. I told 68 that we would start boosting once we started losing but surprisingly we ended up finishing first in the west. Builds have taken a much larger role recently but it shows that at the end of the day schemes and game planning is what will eventually win you games. No builds will save you from poorly positioned dots or bad play calling.

Just for the record.

SHY TOWN will be CPU next year.

I think I am registered as owner for the next 4 seasons - but i am retiring ( as promised for the last 3 seasons) but this time, I am not changing my mind.

Good to be able to quit finally with a trophy.

I never won copper and I never won silver.

These are all pretty much the reasons why my brother and I are done playing PeeWee. It's just not pure like it use to be. It is Pump Fake PeeWee and it's just garbage. The unbalance of not being able to effectively run the ball, forces you to go high pump fake and run a shit load of screen passes. Our playoff game vs. Gerr and 85 Bears, we got the shit Pump Faked out of us. The whole thing just leaves a bad taste. We wanted to give it one more go for old times, and we did fairly well. But it's pretty obvious PeeWee has passed us by and I'll be the first to admit that. We're gonna give it a go in Rookie and hold on to a team for awhile. If anybody is interested, let me know. Any GM that joins, we'd like help picking a team name. Full custom and boost though. Have fun with the PeeWee those of you who stick around, I'll miss it.

Then I can't remember where LE posted about SBWL being done as far as boost/custom but we all know about that one from this thread lol....

All of those above were agents posting about not playing next year...I guess not all official until the season starts

So that makes 6 of 16 playoff teams uncompetitive this season...

If the Seals field a team it will likely be no/no as well, just too expensive for me.

Why dont we all just keep our teams and stay competitive but somehow agree for the league to be a NO/NO league. I really enjoy peewee but everyone, along with me, hates having to pay so much money to stay competitive. Paying $200 a month is just too much.

So how many gold teams are no/no now?

You won't get them all to agree on that. Too many have too much flex to burn.

the worst part of Pee Wee is the regular season.... dumb and slow dots.

Game with dots below Level 13 are ugly.... I'd like to see a virtual builder for season 1, then start real games in season 2. That would keep me interested.

I can't really get excited about long term dots either. Even though the accelerated development has cut the time ... still too long to wait for me. Especially since I would get obsessed with the best long term build which would mean my dots would be sub par until Level 50.

I am working on an idea that would address just this issue...

Basically make PW a truely unique league where we either get 2x the SP/training per level, or start all stats at 25 instead of 10, but either way, PW dots would be more powerful than their counter part dots. But to do this, PW dots would need to be set to auto-retire and can only join PW teams. Writing something up that addresses business reasons to do this, will have it posted by the end of the off season.

This part would go along with Dub J's ideal of resetting Pee Wee dots at the end of each season so this part is covered if they ever implement that change.
