1) Kigali Silverbacks: Talk about a good game. It's the undeafeted beast of the Silverbacks in one corner versus the young hot Magicians in the other. The magicians are looking good right now, but I am feeling it just isn't going to be enough to knock off the Silverbacks. Anything can happen, but there is nothing in the silverbacks game that would suggest to me they can be beaten yet. Close

2) Johannesburg Impalas: I would like to call for an upset seeing how the Red Sea Wave is much improved, but I'm not so sure about their in game play yet. They have the talent now it's the time to prove they can use it. The Impalas have had to face a lot of good competition so far and have done well so far, I think they have more big game experience in the game planning room and will come out with the win. Close

3) Gold Coast Corsairs: Don't get me wrong Rwanda could take this game, but I don't expect it. Corsairs are going to sail through a storm in this game, but they will end up on the other side, find the new land, oppress the native Americans and form the USA. Congrats Corsairs you will become the fattest nation in the world. Something to look forward to. Close

4) Band of Brothers: I just don't see the Scottish sharks taking this game. They have some good players and their offense is good, but I don't think their defense will be able to hole off BoB's Good passing attack. There are some key mismatches I see in the game that hurt the shark and if exploited could spell defeat. The sharks are a good team, (they loss to the Bandits by less then BoB ) but they just won't be able to win this one. Close

5) Ghana Buffalos: The shinobis might be able to dance with the Buffalos offensively, but defensively I think the Buffalos are better and that will help them take this game. Close

6) Cape Verde Headhunters: Both these teams desperately need a win, and this is going to be a battle. I think the Headhunters have the talent advantage, but I wouldn't rule Hutu out yet. They could pull this one out of the cooking pot. If Hutu can get a good push from that tough O line they might have a chance, but it will be hard against the better defense of the headhunters. Close

7) Mozambique Starvin Marvin: What can I say Starvin Marvins is a dominate team and will easily win this one, but I have some doubts that they can completely keep the Fire off the board. One Sided

8) Zanzibar Leopards: Two teams that are at the bottom of the barrel, but have the talent to be at the top. I think Zanaibar is the overall better team, and after a bad couple of loses could get their season back on track. Close

9) Kinshasa Rumblers: The whale are working on getting better, but ever since the rumblers all boosted they have only given up 6 points, which averages to a point a game. I'm not sure I could see any chance for the Whales to pull this one out. Truth I just hope they keep it close. This team doesn't need a morale hit, especially when trying to improve. One Sided

10) A.C.T. Orcas: They need this win. Tijuana doesn't have a player over level 10 and their Morale probably looks worse then the gas tank on E. I hope they start trying to improve that team. One Sided

11)Valhalla Norsemen. Well the norsemen are still in their easier part of the schedule, and they face off against a 2-6 team. The nationals don't have a bad team, but I don't think there are good enough to win these kind of games. One Sided

12) Ethiopia Executioners: Mushrooms haven't even scored a point enough said. Blow Out

13) Katanga Diamonds: Diamonds get another win, and are two away from capturing a playoff spot. (usually teams with 8 wins make the playoffs, at least in the leagues I have been in.) Blow Out.

14) Niarobi Nighthawks: Wow I get to pick the nighthawks? They have played some teams surprisingly tough, and I think if the management stays they could possibly make the playoffs. One Sided

If you are wondering what will happen to "Borsdt's Power Rankings" I just got the news back from the computer repair store. MY wonder hard drive is fried and I have to drop $200 To get a new one. So don't expect my power rankings any time soon, but I am planning on doing a little segment right before the playoffs, about the teams and stuff. I also think I will get together a Pro Bowl ballot or something top player related for you all at the end of the season to make up for the loss of the Rankings.

if you beat the Nightmare you would be ranked higher until we played them. now if we lose to them you are #1. I peronally don't care about finsing the season #1, I am fine being #2 because that will still get me homefeild advantage for atleast 2 games in the playoffs and I need to upgrade my stadium.

there are 4 dominant teams in this league I think we can all agree on that. Each one of us feels they are better than the rest so the only way to sort it out is to see which team gets promoted. Good luck to all teams.
