That's the last guy I expected to come out of there and recover the fumble.

If the ball gets away from the pile, the only person who appears able to recover the ball is the initial fumbler. I've made note of this, hoping it will get re-opened in bugs at some point.

Yep i've been seeing it occasionally, not to replay up your post but http://goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?game_id=1770690&pbp_id=11519979 was one i saw last season. It's not as obvious as yours but i've seen a few others. If you use flash and mouse over the FB you can see he eventually stands up, walks over to the ball, attempts a recovery (misses) and the ball shoots back into the pile to be recovered.

Yeah.. that's weird... it looks like the ball carrier is the only one who sees the ball when it shoots away like that... everyone else is dog piling on bodies...
