The Midd-West Mustangs would like to move down to one of the AA Leagues for the next season. If anyone wants to move up to the AAA league, then please send me a PM.

Your team would probably get killed in AAA
I've PMed you about moving up if Samoa doesn't move up by normal means, though. We'd love to be playing in AAA. However, I don't think Bort would do these moves.

Its not meant to be harsh, I apologize if I came across that way, man. But, unless you plan to get more guys to fill out some areas on that roster, there's nothing that can be done to win with lower levels. It isn't a knock on your gameplanning, but a fact of levels.

I'm interested, but if my team can avoiding losing the rest of the season, then I will be moving up to AAA anyways.

I'd say that's true of just about all of us...

O rly? Well, for the 6-1 teams, and ESPECIALLY for the two 7-0 teams (I own Hawthorn in the Alpha Conference), I think it's true. I don't see every team in a conference having 2 or more losses, so those teams aren't moving up.

Basically, anyone who still mathematically can make the playoffs can make that claim. As far as I can see, prior to todays sim, everyone is still mathematically in the race.
Therefore, any team in AA#4 who doesn't lose another game will be in AAA next season...
Initially, I was just making a small joke. Now you've forced me to break out MATH!!!

So they go based on the PLAYOFFS and not the regular season as who moves up??? I'm going based on regular season. And while the W/L record may say that almost everyone can make the playoffs, by looking at team matchups and projected W/L for the rest of the season, you can eliminate a bunch of the teams. I am a MATH major, so if you want me to, I WILL break out the math.

Yes, they base promotion on the playoffs.
And as I said, prior to todays sims no one had been mathematically eliminated.
I agree that we can make some educated guesses about certain teams that will not make the playoffs. I suspect both of us could make a pretty good run at picking the exact playoff teams right now.
As I said, it was a small joke. Don't take it to seriously...

Yes, CoachB. The two teams that make the League Championship Game are promoted, regardless of regular-season record. In fact, I believe it is actually somewhat unusual for both of the top regular season teams to get promoted--in Samoa's league last season, neither the 1 or 2 seeds from our conference (who were 16-0 and 15-1 in the regular season) got promoted.
Also, Maths majors are the coolest. *high five*
