Gerr had a shot last try vs BPWB and had a decent lead in the second half with Chicago, but playing into the sim and passing cost the Bears the game.
Now with a second chance (hmm I remember a complaint about this) Gerr gets a chance to avenge his loss and win Gold for the first time in Pee Wee Gold League. However if BPWP who is the favorite can pull out another win and may know Gerrs defensive weakness, will be their first ever Pee Wee Gold Championship.

BPWB is on a 6 game win streak, with last loss coming in week 13 to Rockford. TIA i son a 8 game win streak and look to be the team this season from start to finish. Only a tie and a 7 point loss kept TIA from a perfect season.

Ya, I had a good season, no denying that. Just too bad it all wasn't my Bears as I am still looking for my 1st Gold championship with them...

And before anyone cries foul because I have 2 PWG teams, TIA will only be owned by me for one more season, but won't be totally run by me as I am going to focus on my Bears team, so will let others run TIA. In S25, TIA will be transferred to my current co-owner.

Thanks for a great championship game Bengals and will hope for a rematch next season since I am going to move my Bears to the East after 10 seasons in the West. I just want a change of pace for my Bears team...

I've never been a big fan of owners transferring their Gold teams (unless it is a long time co-owner) but I guess it's better then TIA being full of CPU players since support won't demote us. I'd rather see Naimoli bring back the Headhunters though..(his original Pee Team that made it to Gold) - and get in touch with DMFDDOPE and make him come back. Might motivate me to fill my Pee Wee team's roster and give them all a case of the Crabs again

What I meant by a great championship game was it was ruled by defense, not offense. This goes to show you that a well setup defense can stop most "scatball" offenses as both teams had heavy scatball offenses all season with great success, only to both be nearly shut down by superior defenses.

Until they change the sim, scatball plays will still be heavily used, but defenses should wise up in S24 and they should become less effective and thus less popular.
