Someone check my calculations, but here is what I think, presuming full XP...

Day 4 = level up after game.
Day 6 = level up after game.
Day 10 = level up at rollover.
Day 12 = level up after game.
Day 14 = level up after game.
Day 18 = level up after game.
Day 20 = level up after game.
Day 23 = level up at rollover.
Day 26 = level up after game.
Day 28 = level up after game.
Day 32 = level up after game.
Day 40 = level up at rollover.

Now considering that it's a set amount of daily and game XP for levels 1-15, I see the new boosting time as happening on or before the first regular season game since there is no reason to wait any longer. Thus if you boost to level 4 day 1 or don't boost at all, the level up days will remain the same and you will hit level 16 on day 40 if you boost, level 13 if you don't.

So this no longer applies?

I would say no according to what Catch22 says...

Level 1-40
50 XP daily for training

Level 1-15
625 Max Game XP

I take this as that XP will no longer change for every level, but instead will change for groups of levels, meaning levels 1-15 will all have the same XP.

- Minimum plays required to receive max XP from a game is now 1

I would presume that this will stay in and it means that every player on the team will receive max xp now.

Random somewhat related question,

Can you currently sign a level 4 player created in the current season with 0xp to a Pee Wee team?

EDIT: I've see a lot of newer players, that would make players in the pre-season, boost and then go looking for a team, I've never tried signing them to a team because of the early boost and lack of training, but now it appears that the only draw back would be the loss of training. Could be a good way to boost numbers in some of the silver/copper leagues.

No, you can not sign a level 4 player to PW. Must be level 1 and no XP. The guys that do this can only be signed to Rookie teams, as they do not have the "level 1" requirement.

The weird thing is, that it doesn't give an error message. It used to say, Pee Wee teams can only sign .. blah blah blah, but now I just get a yellow bar with the red x but no message.

Try it today on this guy: http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=2465980

Well the thing is that boosting gives you 1000XP per level. So if you look at his XP history he won't be at 0

Yep, this is better than my explanation, as it's not really a "level" issue. Peewee is 0 XP and 0 days old. Rookie is only 0 days old.

The calculations are correct. There are still reasons to wait, however, which include training and ALG's. Would probably amount to about 6-10 SP depending on whether you build your players according to caps or not.

Incorrect though 1kwerdna, me and Gerr have run these numbers many times over, the ALG's actually don't really lose anything with pretty much any build, nothing over 1-2 SP either way, and sometimes there is even an advantage to boosting earlier-such as when you plan to put SP into a stat all season long.

Now the training advantages remain the same as before.
