After a enjoyable first season of success at 11-4, the Viridian Vanguards, projected to make a playoff run this season by many, now seem poised to fall down a league to the USA BBBs.

Although they began the season at 2-0, they are now stricken with 5 straight losses, with each seeming progressively worse. This latest defeat, coming at the hands of the Buffalo Daggers, was marked by three interceptions and less than 200 total yards for the Vanguards.

Players, owners, and general managers alike all wonder at Viridia's sudden and unexpected affliction.

...Yeah.

Oh my...I just took a peek at the rest of your schedule and it isn't exactly conducive to a turn-around either.

Daggers are on the rise!

Did the same thing not happen last season? Only it happened 7 games into the season instead of 2. What are you guys doing so wrong?

iamtheking, if I'm not mistaken we won 11 of our first 12 games last season.

But yes, we encountered similar problems last season near the end. And as for the reason, it's a question to which I wish I had the answer.

I don't see VV dropping to the BBB league. They still have at least a few wins left in them.

Tough season for the Vanguard, but you guys are talented, you'll bounce back. I don't see anyway they'll drop to BBB.

True. They'll need a lot of success that I don't see right now to get into the playoffs, but there is virtually no way that they get relegated.

It's a hard every other day for me...
