A CPL fantasy matchup!

Blazz's 5 Thoughts for week 2.

1. Zeta looks pretty top heavy
Hali and Lincoln alone make it look like that. But throw in Mojo, Canton and Mayan, along with the surging Guyana Punch, and you got yourself a pretty stacked conference. Oh yea, I forgot to mention Paris, Alpine, and RToF are in there too, all returning WL teams.

2. Can't really say the same for Alpha
They may not have as much power at the top, but alpha is still pretty salty. They seem to be more of a balanced conference. An would not surprise me if Alpha turned out like Zeta did in season 22, a dumpster fire.

3. Three very interesting teams sitting at 0-2.
It of course is still way early, but Paris, HHWC, and Alpine are all sitting at 0-2 after two games. It is a tough hole to dig out of for sure. There is some NFL stat that 167% of 0-2 teams don't make the playoffs in the NFL....maybe that is 0-4.....I don't know.

4. Four surprise teams for you.....

- C-Town MF'n Hood

Who would have thought that this group would be 2-0 after week 2. Hood is demoting anyways, so the 2-0 start is kind of useless....but the other 3 are surprises in my book. Even if they have had an easy schedule, any body is tough in the WL!

Alpha: Devonport Devils vs. Dallas Longhorns
Two 2-0 teams should be a good match up. I'll take the WL vets for now, Davonport could really make a name for themselves with an early season win over Dallas

Zeta: Guyana Punch vs. Somalia Pirates
Another pair of 2-0 teams matching up. Give me the punch for now, they have really been impressive thus far! Also keep an eye on the Lincoln vs RToF game and the two Empires matching up.

Lincoln, Dallas, Mojo and Canton i agree with but Hali i dont.

What are you basing this on ? So far Hali Have beat two 0-2 teams, who both look like they arent making playoffs btw. The second of which they won very unconvincingly being outgained and only 5 infront.

I think Somalia look like a better top 5 contender than Hali so far. But meh lol day 3.
