Actually, I figure this will be a close game. At the start of the playoffs, I was thinking Cascade all the way, but after that last game, I think Maine has a slight edge and they might have some level 14s for the game, but not sure about that.

Best Pee Wee Teams of All Time (related):

1 SBWL- still the best, but without a major title outside of AAT since season 16 I think, starting to lose their grip
2 Maine- they will be #1 with a win, nothing can top 3 straight gold titles right now
3 Cascade- they are here right now, they passed FG IMO by making this title game because that cancels out FG's longevity advantage and Cascade holds the head to head
4 FG- holds 2 very impressive records of 11 straight 12 win seasons in gold and 11 straight top 4 finishes including I think 8 straight 2nd or 1st place finishes, also the all time gold regular season wins leader and 2nd in pee wee wins, but only 2 titles overall has to leave them at 4 for a long time considering how far ahead the top 3 are
5 Chicago 85' Bears- this was the tough spot, I was thinking of a bunch of teams with a lot of overall wins, but Chicago has to get the nod because of the body of work and I think they have 4 real tourney titles across AAT, FTW, and official

Honorable Mention:

Crackertown- I was going to give #5 to them, but their only title was their gold win and I thought they did not quite have the resume; however, if they return to gold and do well, they might move up
Crib Midgets- I thought about them, but they have no tourney titles and 2 of their league titles were a long time ago, their main sell was the fact that they have been around since season 8 and are #3 overall in wins, but I couldn't put them on the list without a more current title and a little more gold success
Mississippi Mud Dogs- I believe they are #4 in overall wins, but their only title is the season 15 2nd chance tourney, they have lately been moving farther away from the top of the list, not closer
He Hate Me!!!- They played 6 real seasons from 8-13, just not enough to make the list IMO; however, if we were picking based on a team's best 5 seasons instead of overall body of work, they could be #1 or #2
Other Teams- There are other teams that might be worth a look, but I just don't think they would be in the same class- Lone Star, Fight Club Academy, loldots, classic The Insane Asylum, DSBM, Tombstone, DIRTY INC., Montpellier Wildcats, Bengalfish Guppies, DI, Twin Peaks, Deep Throw It, Atlanta Apocalypse

I thought these two would make the final when I seen the semi-final line-up - although I think Cascade were fortunate to get so many ST plays without really moving the ball at all on offense.

In my limited time in Pee-Wee its been my impression that the Grenadiers are a step above the competition in Gold.

If they can stop the surlyGoats ST machine then I think they'll win by 20.

I agree. I would have given the edge to Cascade prior to the CC games in a Cascade Maine matchup. But that was just based on the dominant performance in the playoffs up to that point. However, after the CC games I think the edge goes to Maine and it may not be all that close......

Do you think you were snubbed? I mean you have only been around since season 14 and have a copper championship and a silver conference championship and that's it. I think every other team up there has some kind of non-copper league championship, so it's hard to consider you guys as good as the teams up there. However, win a gold or tourney title and play for a couple more seasons and you'll probably move into the list.

85 Bears have no business in the top 5. They have never won a title and have very few playoff wins. This isnt a kick to Gerr either...its just truth. They are a great team no doubt but until they win a Gold title they are not top 5 material.

As much as I dislike siggymike, I have to agree here. My team might be top 10, but not top 5 as I would reserve those for teams who won a gold championship and have been dominate for many seasons. I do consider my team as good as any 1&done gold championship team if not better, but until my team does win itself a championship, I just can't include myself in the top 5.

This touches my heart! After all this time to see Tombstone still mentioned is pretty awesome and an honor. We were very close to winning back to back, would have been the first. But LordEvil and SBWL were just a little better that season.

No doubt Tombstone is top 5. The whole cast at that. I think as in any case, people tend to forget the past and only remember the present day. Tombstone get's my vote.

LE, you Sir are a class act, thank you. I agree that the past can easily be forgotten, That's why I also agree that He Hate Me!!! cannot be over looked as one of the best ever.

Tombstone is definitely up there, especially because of how dominant they were in a time where more teams boosted early.. and more teams were trying.

I think it's a fun argument either way.. maybe when we are all bored this offseason we can figure out a fair criteria to rank the teams...

Tournaments
Elite seasons
etc..etc.. what else?
