It looks like the veteran WL teams got punched in the mouth in round 1 by the new blood. Well done guys.
MPHD, HHWC, Korb, Odessa, and Lincoln all gone. That's a lot of playoff victories between those teams that are out of the race. It's wide open.
Parity looks strong. Are we seeing a changing of the gaurd???
Most threads are turning into the old guys vs the new guys in smack talking and the new guys winning round 1 sure gave them some ammo. However, the teams that have been here forever will argue their history vs the current season. You mix that in with a few of the newer teams really talking big and we have ourselves some fun shit talking.
I thought the new guys talking big was pretty silly at first too. So I side with the jdbollicks, dprides, and Bhalls of the GLB world. But those new teams hae never been here before. A lot of the old time teams have all battled it out with eachother before and in the end we have a ton of respect for eachother. Even that dpride choad.
I'm not sure why the new teams think they are all that either. But they've never been here before and have won some games. So it understandable why they are acting like kids.
It's making me sound like an old man even though I'm 27.... But I guess the veteran teams know that it takes a fuckload of work and skill to stick around up here and compete for a while. Through the seasons they have learned to respect eachother. I remember when I thought dpride and jdbolick were fucking cocksuckers. Now I agree with that all too much on many things and wouldn't mind grabbing a beer with them. Wierd how that works.
You guys will see if you are lucky enough to still be here in a few seasons. Should be fun to watch.

It's an amazing season for parity in the WL. Most of the historically good teams are done. So we'll prob have a new WL champion. I'm all for that. Should be fun.
