Picks record this season: 86-42

Game of the Week
Odessa Mojo (7-1) v E-City Mercenaries (5-3)
Odessa is really rolling, having won 5 straight and they’re looking like a big-time contender once again. ECM meanwhile keeps defying all expectations. Seems they would like to stick around the WL next season. It’s going to be very difficult for ECM to take down Odessa, but maybe they hired a Black Magic Woman http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eaKnRUfh_5I to get it done. Odessa 35, ECM 27
Other Games
Machu Picchu Hidden Dragons (8-0) v C-Town MF’n Hood (3-5)
MPHD rolled up Dallas with a lot less trouble than I expected and now they host C-Town in their hood. Unless the Hood can suddenly turn into a Highway Star http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KgZSnAkQc4c on they road to Machu Picchu, they are in for a world of hurt in this one. MPHD 42, Hood 14
Dallas Longhorns (7-1) v Lincoln Navigators (4-4)
Things are really looking up in the land of Lincoln, the winners of 3 straight. While that may be nothing compared to Dallas’ 7 game streak, that streak is now over and we’ll see if they recover against a significant challenge. Will Dallas be able to write an Epitah http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uim2jZHZ3YU to Lincoln’s streak or will they start a negative one of their own? Dallas 38, Lincoln 31
Korb Destroyers (6-2) v Milwaukee Juggernaughts (3-5)
The Juggs have lost against 3 straight tough teams and now they get another one on their schedule in Korb. Time are tough. The Juggs will have to bust our some serious Satch Boogie http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zzQb79IhoRE if they expect if they have any shot in this one. That seems unlikely. Korb 45, Juggs 17
Cincinnati Shockers (5-3) v The Drunken Addicts of Omerta (3-5)
Cincy is making their run and I like their chances. Omerta on the other hand is running the opposite direction and fading fast. How soon do they need to turn it around to save their season? How Soon Is Now? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_U5HpeA_WSo Cincy 49, Omerta 24
Nashville Hounds (5-3) v Carthage Mad Clash (2-6)
Carthage ain’t dead yet and they’re still fighting hard. Nashville did yeoman’s work against Krungthep and that may see them through to a playoff berth at the end. Carthage is starting to learn their way around the sim and it seems they’re Hot For Teacher http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g0XLKcMoXRE to learn more. Carthage 24, Nashville 21
Krunghtep Garudas (3-5) v Sumatra Seahawks (2-6)
Krunghtep has lost 3 straight, Sumatra has lost 4 straight. Something has to give. One thing that has been mainly consistent though is Krungthep’s D and I think that probably wins it for them. I don’t know if fool believes in Shangri-La http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l4DJ9YUYshE but he might after this. Krungthep 35, Sumatra 16
Moosejaw Roughriders (1-7) v Tyrrhenian Sea Wasps (0-8)
More along the lines of something’s gotta give, both of these teams are sporting long losing streaks and not many close games even along the way. While neither team has shown much, somebody must win this one and I’ve gotta go with my old buddies and WL veterans of many seasons. They’ll be Killing In The Name of Love http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fkuOAY-S6OY MJ 28, TSW 10

Game of the Week
East St. Louis Tire Fires (5-3) v Honolulu Hurricane Warriors (5-3)
How could this not be the GoTW? Sure, it’s not the playoffs, but whenever these two teams square off it’s going to be good. While both of them really only care about the playoffs, you at least have to care enough to actually get to the playoffs in the first place. In short, I expect it to be Raining Blood http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CUDWLp1yIWw in this one. Who wins? Tossup. ESL 31, HHW 24
Other Games
Paris Musketeers (8-0) v Somalia Pirates (5-3)
Paris keeps winning and they’ve now guaranteed at least a non-losing WL record, which is good in itself. I have been kinda under-selling Somalia all season. Their losses are all legit and they compete. Very solid WL team. Will they be able to snuff the Paris Rooster http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uAE6Il6OTcs like no one else has? Paris 42, Somalia 35
Canton Immortals (6-2) v Alpine (5-3)
We’ll find out what both of these teams are made of in this one. Alpine has a couple of unexpected losses while some say Canton has been the beneficiary of good scheduling. I think both are very good teams, but the regular season is only lol until someone ends up 9th. Everyone needs a Trial By Fire http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qeP20I-E9BE at some point. Alpine 34, Canton 28
Mayan Prophecy (5-3) v Rosarica Titans of Fire (5-3)
This should be a barn burner between two teams in the thick of the race and with some impressive results thus far. Both teams have a few games they’d like to have back, but hey there’s no re-rolls. Which team shows up with the Ace of Spades http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9e5cqe_JE0Q here and which one shows up jacked? Mayan 45, RTF 42
Sofia Spiders (4-4) v Three Kingdom Warriors (0-8)
Having lost 3 straight, Sofia is desperate and probably very glad to see this game on the schedule. While TKW has shown no facility for winning this season, who knows if they decide to play a cruel joke and game plan this one? Will Sofia change likewise or Come As You Are http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vabnZ9-ex7o Sofia 56, TKW 6
Indianapolis Gurupies (4-4) v Queensland Exiles (2-6)
Indy is another team in dire straights right now and they haven’t won in 4 games games since Providence. QE has lost 6 of 7 and who knows if they are even still paying attention? Just like it’s good timing for Sofia, it’s good timing for Indy. We’ll see if Indy shows up like Brothers in Arms http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k5JkHBC5lDs Indy 28, QE 13
Eastern European Alliance (4-4) v Krakow Ice Dragons (2-6)
EEA is still in this shit, obviously. Despite Krakow’s struggles, if they can string together some wins they’re still in it too. I’m probably going to have to with the team that’s more “in it” though. The WL ain’t like Hotel California http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1ygI3BZxdCY you check out AND you leave if you don’t make the dance. EEA 35, KID 17
Providence Radicals (2-6) v Palembang Royally Drunken Monks (2-6)
This is a matchup of two teams that aren’t having very good seasons but that are still obviously very much committed to putting together an effort each game. I like the never give up attitude tbh. When you already have 6 losses, you’re pretty much living in a house of cards that could crumble at any point. Monks are still a Sweet Child 'O Mine http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1w7OgIMMRc4 Providence 31, Monks 28
