How are you guys charging concessions? Ive been reading charging more than expected brings in more revenue because fans will pay it. However, today, I went up about 20% and sales were less than last game at expected pricing.

What are you guys doing?

FWIW, our fan support is pretty good.. 62 27 8 so Im slightly surprised the drunks didn't buy my 6.00 beer.

Sales should go down accordingly, but total revenue (or a better figure: revenue per seat) is more important. I've also read that if you have insanely high rich-folks support, then you can basically charge whatever you want.

I can't imagine enough of us have very high rich support. We are 6-1 and have 8 for that.

I've had my concession prices the same all season, but they were always higher than the "expected" prices. After today's game, I raised food prices $0.50 to see how much it would affect things.

The fan support for the Porto Wolves are higher than for my team (fans love W's!) The trick is to maximize total concession sales with your fan support. The "high income" fans don't mind overpaying. I think I've read that $15 per fan is the norm. But with enough high income fans you could probably double that number.

We have ours at the max for every item. We have averaged almost $176,000 ($175,966) for our 3 home games. Our fan base is only at 44-15-2 (low to high)

Also the total concessions bought for each item have not gone down any. They have continued to rise with each home game.

Averaged? Or is that a total? Seems obscene if we can just charge the max amount to get the max potential revenue each game...

That is the average for the first 3 home games.

1 - $166,900.00

2 - $176,617.00

3 - $183,273.00

Sorry I took the averages from another team I am on but here are the 3 games for us this year.

I only sold 988 season tickets at first with a 20 percent discount, then sold at expected, then after we started 3-0 went up 5 bucks and sold out. I added 10 seats today and jacked it up about 5 more bucks just to see how fast they go for our last 4 home games.

We maxed out our stadium seating as early as possible. Last night we sold our last ticket to the last game of the year so we are now sold out for the season. In today's game we averaged $17.15 per person for concessions.
