Once in awhile I complain about the SIm but todays game just makes me wonder wtf!! Why do I continue to PAY for crap like this. I've lost 2 games now by a TD or less that easily could have been Wins if not for "Working as Intended" dots that run around like Stevie fkn Wonder. I also wonder how WR's with 6 strength and 6 Blocking can be so effective at taking 3 dots out of the play. end rant/

It's not just your team, so everyone is effected, we just have to deal with it. Sux INO

BTW- First play, I'd lay off the zone and have that FS play HB Weak then WR1
2nd play, you have bad spacing between the 2 Cbs and the FS. I'd move that CB to the sideline more and a tad deeper. Move the FS closer to the LOS and also spread out just a hair.

1st play = FS set to HB Weak, WR 1 in that order. I have checked and rechecked, that's why I'm ranting!

2nd play - Ok maybe spacing can be better but a weak ass WR takes 3 dots out of the play = stupid.

My D backfield has been doing stupid shit like that all season. It's frustrating no doubt.

Dots stop in the middle of the route, run out of bounds, and get burned by slower less agile WRs and TEs. LBs stand around in the defensive back field leaving their assignments wide open. It's tough enough to defend so many things as it is. It usually happens to more to one team than the other.

#1 - I have seen FS's do that from time to time, but usually on screen passes, so not sure why he did that on this one. Must be a bug of some sort as that started last season and still happens. Working as intended my ass!

#2 - the CB should have made that tackle, but got his socks juked off. But ya, no way that WR should be able to block all 3 of those players. Might want to suggest something about a certain level of blocking is needed to engage more than one person at a time, or something like that.

#1 I think this one smells like a bug.

#2 I think there is some kind of cut. The HB make a sudden change of direction just before the CB gets to him. The first CB does not have the vision/agility to react to this. FS and MLB has to recalculate this interception point but are to close to the WR/CB block which they do not see due to low vision.

agree - happened on an number of plays in earlier games for me. Seems to have improved with a little adjustment.
But still seems to exist on certain plays.

The second one is the annoying one. The Cb and MLB both should have made that tackle. to lose that way is heartbreaking.

LOL @ trying to make it seem like there is some kind of logic to it ...this is peewee ...it isn't the bugs forum!

if that's working as intended, then Bort must be tired of this business and is trying to make us all rage quit.

if he has any interest at all in continuing with this game, it's strictly in the higher levels. But the bugs and suggestions forums have just as many high level complaints as there are low level...so seems like the sim is broken on both ends.

I don't think man coverage distance has ever worked properly at an angle, and that's part of the problem with the MLB. Even if he would have reacted faster, he probably wouldn't have closed properly and had a much larger cushion then his settings... HB coverage has always sucked.

Also, if you think about it, we shouldn't be playing meaningful games with dots this young.. it just compounds sim flaws.. I know Bort is trying to think of a way to fast track players.... I might take some time in the next week or two and work on some suggestions... one idea is to simulate a new dots build to Level 8 or 10ish.. then start your dot career. Pee Wee would be insanely fun if we finished the season at level 16 to 18.

^don't think that is a good enough idea for long term agents to get excited about.... I really think pro Pee Wee suggestions need to be disguised as lower level suggestions.... Our Pee Wee dots are so balanced by the end of the season, they are very similar to Level 20-25 dots... just alot slower/weaker (much lower primary)

+1

Pee Wee is flawed. Period. We already know that... GLB is flawed. Period.

What's new?

Maybe one of you highly intelligent guys should build a game we all can come play that works. Just sayin..

Low vision and low agility (which is just by nature at the pee wee level). No real difference to drop passes, Qb's missing wide open guys, RB's running out of bounds etc...... All the dots have issues....

As for the 2nd. I didn't really look at it but in most cases it is not the act of 1 weak guy blocking 3. More likely that those guys get caught up in the mess. Which is probably realistic. However the unbalanced part comes in when the O guys don't have the same limitations. Which has been a complaint at all levels I think.

Personally, I say kill Pee-Wee outright and create a new mid-level league, say level 25, where all players are ONLY 1 and done, ie they exist only in this separate league and are created at the starting level of the league and are automatically retired at the end of the season.

This basically would be Pee-Wee, but starting at a higher level, with only 1&done players. It would have all the benefits of Pee-Wee, but would take place at a higher level, which would be more enjoyable for more people.

-OR-

Something similar would be to auto level up any Pee-Wee player to level 10 at the start of the Pee-Wee season, but make those players auto-retire at the end of that Pee-Wee season. This would force Pee-Wee leagues into 1&done players only, but lets us start at level 10 rather than level 1.

Probably NGTH, but would be cool if it did.

Just isn't going to happen...

As Bort/Catch have said, alot of agents still keep their Pee Wee players even if they sacrificed their long term build... and that helps fill rosters in the lower levels. Bort is not going to do anything like 1 and done that will lower the number of long term dots.

I've been goofing around with the old virtual player builder this morning, simulating builds.. It takes around 600 days for a dot to get to Level 70 ... that is just WAY too long. Bort needs a fast track idea to cut that time to 1 year. Seems like he needs to accelerate the development ( double XP, training points?) the first 4 seasons. So, instead of taking 8 seasons to hit level 50, it takes half that time.
Season 2 - End at Level 30ish
Season 4 - Level 50ish...

But there would be alot of factors to consider before that happened... player age/longevity , will this hurt GLBs revenue?, and how do we compensate the agents now that have dots less then level 50?
