These aren't standings, they are projected finishes using a formula that gets more accurate as the season wears on.

You'll have to re-read the explanation for the algorithms that I posted in the other thread, but I seem to remember it mentioning something about that.

Hate to do it, but I have to agree with you. I think we will be lucky to be 8-8

It will be more accurate week after week... If it is week 12 and the Raiders are still projected 12-4, I'll believe it. As for now, they still could go 12-4, who knows?

I'm not ungrateful, the projections are entertaining for sure. I just have a hard time thinking they're too accurate. Fortaleza, for instance, has had one impressive win, and that was week 1. Not saying they aren't a good team but They're past the cake schedule (which the Panthers are looking forward to soon ) and about to have a tough few games. I don't see them winning them all. Raiders going 12-4 is a big stretch, and I doubt the cougars beat us by season's end. But like I said, who knows.

Either way, the projections give us something to ponder and talk about, and I appreciate that
