Warrior General Games

Yesterday I had a friendly scrim (viewable to participants only) where I was testing all the new plays. I have 2 HBs on my roster and 2 FBs. Every play, both HBs were placed into the HB and FB slots, and I have no idea why my FB wasn't there. I had selected FB2 for most of these plays in the AI package, and the only player on the FB2 depth chart is a FB.

I am running the same gameplan in a viewable game later today, and will post links. In the meantime, wondering if anybody else is having an HB pop up in their FB slot for goalline plays.

first, send a link to the game in question, and or play in question, second, in GL it uses 3 TE's, it pulls TE's from the TE DC, if you have only 2, it pulls the FB for the 3rd TE, if you only have 1 FB listed in the FB DC then it pulls a HB to fill the FB slot, if you only have 1 hb in the HB slot, it pulls a WR/CB/Whatever the F else it wants to pull. Not a bug, thats how its programmed. I know i saw suggestions to change it

This must be it. I only have 1 TE and 2 FBs.

I guess I could put other players into the TE slot but I don't want them EVER to be used outside of goalline...is that possible?

if you set them to the TE1 and TE2 slot and only use the TE slot in your AI, then in GL it will pull from TE1 first, then TE2, so yeah, you could do this as long as you make sure in packages and AI that TE1 and TE2 is never selected.

it only uses the players you put in the spot...wow you have no clue how it works....He needs to fix his Ai to only use the players he wants to.

idk dude, his answer makes a lot of sense. I had FB2 selected for all goalline plays and yet my FB got pulled to TE (where he is not in any of the slots - not TE, TE1, or TE2).

Blitz, you were right, my FBs were playing as TEs even though they were not on the TE depth chart. I have now set my goalline to always pull from TE1 (which was previously unused) and I've filled it with OTs and OGs. We'll see if this solves the problem.
