If Hood wins and DADDY loses, Hood and all the teams above them are in

If DADDY wins and Hood loses, DADDY is in as well as the teams currently 1-7

If DADDY and Hood both win, possible scenarios:
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Lincoln loses

4 teams, 3 spots
DADDY (2-1)
Hood (2-1)
Death Valley (1-2)
Lincoln (1-2) – loses tie-breaker with DV – Head to head

4 teams, 3 spots
DADDY (1-2) – loses tie-breaker with Hood – Head to Head
Hood (1-2)
Moose (2-1)
Lincoln (2-1)

3 teams, 2 spots (DV & Moose tie)
DADDY (1-1)
Hood (1-1)
Lincoln (1-1)
Goes to least points allowed
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Lincoln wins or ties

3 teams, 2 spots
DADDY (0-2) - out
Hood (1-1)
Moose (2-0)

3 teams, 2 spots
DADDY (1-1)
Hood (2-0)
Death Valley (0-2) - out

2 teams, 1 spot (DV & Moose tie)
DADDY
Hood – Hood wins tie breaker – head to head over DADDY

I didn't think of that. OK, let's see.

Blaze are out either way. Same with Jebs. So this is to see if Daddy can knock out one of Hood/Linc/MJ/DV?

Points allowed
MJ = 385
DV = 455
Daddy = 486
Hood = 498
Linc = 505

Daddy, Hood, Lincoln, MJ first

Daddy = 1-2
Hood = 1-2
Lincoln = 2-1
MJ = 2-1

Next tiebreaker is points allowed between the 2 tied teams (yeah, I know it should reset, but it doesn't. One of my teams found out the hard way back in like Season 10).

Daddy is ahead by 8 points over Hood.

Daddy, Hood, Lincoln, DV

Daddy = 2-1
Hood = 2-1
Lincoln = 1-2
DV = 1-2

DV is 50 points ahead of Linc on points allowed.

I guess if Daddy wins and Hood loses, Hood misses the playoffs too.

I'm not going to work out Linc winning so there's a 3 way tie for 2 spots at 9-7 right now. Maybe later.

This can be fixed with seeds 9 and 10 from alpha replacing the 7 and 8 seeds in zeta.

Everyone wins, ratings go up, more money is spent on commercials.

looks like as long as DV and Moose don't tie, Hood is in

there are scenarios where DADDY, Lincoln and Death Valley can each get eliminated as long as Moose and DV don't tie and I don't see a scenario where Moose gets eliminated

After the head to head tiebreaker is points allowed. The teams are not resorted and head to head is not applied again after the first tie is broken.

Yeah, I know it should reset, but it doesn't. One of my teams found out the hard way back in like Season 10.

This only affects the Linc loses Moose loses scenario wrt Hood over Daddy.

Edit. Points allowed, not scored.

why is it that people still don't understand how the tiebreaker system works?

If there's a 4 way tie, and two teams are 1-2, it does NOT go to their head to head game. It goes to points allowed. It's head to head only in a 2 way tie. In a 3 or more way tie, it's the group head to head that is relevant, There is no secondary head to head tiebreaker.

Didn't I just say that?

I'm still rolling with "If Hood wins, Hood is in" until somebody convinces me otherwise.

Daddy, Hood, Lincoln, MJ tie

Daddy = 1-2
Hood = 1-2
Lincoln = 2-1
MJ = 2-1

Next tiebreaker is points allowed between the 2 tied teams.

Daddy is ahead by 12 points over Hood.

I don't see a scenario where Moose is eliminated nor are there scenarios where Jebs or Blaze make it.

Hood, Daddy, Linc and DV can all be eliminated in various scenarios.

Also if Jebs beat Daddy, Hood loses and Blaze win, they're all 8-8 fighting for 1 playoff spot.

First tiebreaker is H2H among the 4.

Jebs = 1-2
Hood = 3-0
Daddy = 2-1
Blaze = 0-3

Hood gets the spot even if they lose.
