West:

1: Chicago 85' Bears---With the UT pimps merger this already top notch team will be the preseason favorite in gold. The bears haven't had the D that they've had in the past but now I think it will return to its former glory 15-1

2: Providence Nose Pickers---No bias here, but we've proved to be a top team in gold. 13-3 last season and a conference championship run the season before 13-3

3 Crib Midgets---they came off of a monster start last season to get stuck in the mud and it carried over to the playoffs. They will be one of the more motivated teams come season and they will prove to be a top team in gold again 12-4

4 Brigate Nere Italia---for some reason I have a feeling they bounce back this season and have a good solid season. It's clear they missed RK last season, but with another season of experience under his belt, the eagle should do well this season 11-5

5 Pain Nation Midgets---the most consistent team in gold imo, always have a great, stellar season but can't do much in the playoffs. this season can they break it and go back to their S17 form? Maybe, but ill leave them for now at 10-6

6 DIRTY INC.---Not sure if mike plans on trying this season, but judging by the fact he's making all the players, I think he will and will start rolling in the middle of the season 10-6

7 Lunch Box---I really don't know much about the rest of the teams to say anything, but once I put LB here its probably the sign of something bad 8-8

8 I Hunt therefore I am/Faster Horses---Don't know much about them, but seemed to have some ok wins last season...will slide them in here now at 8-8

Yeah I hope some of the unknown teams step up and produce some competition otherwise it will be same ol same just in different order.

I think the Bears may stumble out of the box a little bit. May take a few games to get in a groove. It is always different sharing duties then it is when running the show. Though I think in the end they will be a top 3-4 team.

For PNP I think that depends on LE's schedule. If he gets too busy then they may get surprised a time or two. The defense will be very solid. They are probably the safe pick at #1

For the other 5 listed I think it is a toss up and probably depends on the sim. But if I had to put them in order I would probably only switch Dirty and PNM. Other than I think your order is pretty good.

Good luck everyone

I believe I Hunt will be a CPU team this season, but Faster Horses might be the dark "horse" this season...

Something to consider is rarely do you see a one agent team fully boost, so single agent teams while very good early-mid season, tend to falter late season to playoff time. There have been a few exceptions, but for the most part, you see this pattern.

On the other hand many single agent teams seem to have a better special team towards the end of the season. That can compensate for the big play they give up due to the missing boost.

We finally have a real OC this season, so I am optimistic that we'll be better on that side of the ball. 10-6 is a perfectly good record, but I have a feeling we'll be a bit better. I'm going 12-4 with the #3 seed.

I can just about guarantee Faster Horses will be awesome since they are my out of conference draw for game one. It's a GLB rule.

They are definitely a good team. Not sure what their plan for boosting/CE is, but if the are yes/yes, they will compete.

So much for coming in under the radar.

Thanks for the props but I got a late start on my dots this season--hopefully I will be able to recover.

The entire team will be wearing custom come Game 1. Hell I don't even have regular eq or tactics set yet. Boosting is a wait and see thing. If I make the playoffs and think I can do some damage--I'll boost.

No chance of coming in under the radar in Gold, they are way to schooled up here. Anytime a team is built by one agent/owner, you will have a chance to be very good... Maybe I should try that one season?

Good luck in Gold.

J.
