Again, I appoligize that it has taken so long to get a new edition out. My life has been fairly busy and I havent had the free time to piece them together. Im not sure if I will be able to do them again during the week but I should have time next weekend at the latest get another version out. Again, if anyone wants to take over the duties from me than has more time be my guest!

Lion Conference
1. Somalia Wasps (6-0): Another game, another win. The Wasps came out today and got their offense going on all cylinders. There was nothing the Squirrels could do to keep them out of the end zone. The Wasps will face two tough teams in the next two games, but after that the rest of their season should provide a break until the meet the Night Riders in the second to last game.

2. Kalahari Night Riders (5-1): The Night Riders have shown that they are for real and should continue to win as they face a light schedule until they face the Wasps and Infection in the later part of the season, could this team break away from the pack and lock up a playoff berth early?

3. Pheonix Heat (5-1): Suffered a bitter and unexpected loss to the Night Riders today. While this has crushed their dreams of an undefeated season they are still expecting to finish near the top. Offensively they couldn’t get anything done today, but expect HB Ryan Seacrest and QB Amare Stoudemire to come out looking for redemption in game 7 against the Silverbacks before going on the road to try to claw their way back to the top against the Wasps.

4. Etheopian Starvin Marvins (4-2): Despite two close losses to two good teams, this team is hanging in there. QB E-roc Dizzle finally got the passing game going today completing nearly 72% of his passes on route to 225 yards. The Marvins get a tough Angola team at home next; will they have the determination to come out on top?

5. Minnesota Mafia (5-1): Minnesota racked up their fifth win of the season today against the Sierra Leon Thunder Bolts. Running back James Golling hasn’t been producing as expected this season, but QB Danny Jo is still performing at a pro bowl level. Their schedule will be tougher through the next 6 games than it was over the first 6.

6. Zimbabwe Bush Squirrels (5-1): Today, the Wasps exposed that the Squirrels current record is the product of an easy early schedule. However, even though this team isn’t sitting at the top any longer they are one of the best of the rest and do boast a quality win over the Night Riders. Will this team rebound over the next few weeks as they work their way through the hard part of their schedule?

7. Angola Dream (4-2): This team has faced a tough early schedule and wont get any relief for a few games, however they are currently sitting in the top 8 and they expect to still be there come seasons end.

8. Sahara Shadow Chasers (3-3): Lost to a Silverbacks team that they were expecting to beat. If this team wants to make the playoffs they need to start winning games against teams that are currently on the outside of the playoff picture looking in. Will this team be able to hold on to their playoff spot when their schedule still includes the Wasps, Heat, and Marvins?

9. Sierra Leon Thunder Bolts (2-4): Just when they thought things were turned around they suffer a loss to the Mafia. They looked solid in the loss but they couldn’t find the end zone. Their schedule is geared so that they can make a late season push for the playoffs, but will team morale allow them to do so?

10. Atlantic Blue Jays (3-3): Surprised many with a strong start, however they are beginning to fade. The loss to the Empire must be demoralizing, but they are already looking to game 7 against the Night Riders. The back end of their schedule wont be easy, does this team have what it takes to hold on and possibly steal a playoff spots?

11. Uganda Silverbacks (2-4): Pulled out an impressive win today over the Shadow Chasers with a dominating offensive performance. Can they keep this momentum and give a fair showing against the Heat in game 7?

12. Fort Wayne Generals (2-4): Have won two in a row, and have another two that they could possibly snag before running into the Night Riders. This team is still in a position to be in the playoff hunt, but they need to keep their momentum and start winning more games.

13. African Killer Frogs (1-5): Started off strong against the Starvin Marvins but lacked the endurance to keep it up the entire game. The Frogs have already faced most of the leagues top teams and will face the Squirrels and Heat in the next few games, so could this team be making a late push for the playoffs with an easy schedule?

14. Egypt Empire (1-5): The Empire were able to walk away with their first win of the season. While this is certainly something to be proud of they will be feeling much better if they can secure another win or two to avoid relegation.

15. Madagascar Outlaws (0-6): This team nearly pulled off their first win of the season today. While the door for the playoffs is quickly closing on this team, they do have a roster that can give teams trouble week in and week out.

16. Eritrea Evarcha culicuvora (0-6): The good news: Their young core is starting to develop; the bad news: relegation is looking like an all too real possibility.

Elephant Conference
1. Ghana Rhea Infection (6-0): Had another solid game again the Malice today, and collected quality wins over the Beavers and Jinx in the previous games as well. The Infection are looking like the best team in Elephant Conference and will have smooth sailing for a few games if they can get past the X-treme in game 7.

2. African Killer Bee’s (6-0): An impressive win over the Lions has propelled the Bee’s to second in my rankings; however I must note that this team has had a fairly easy schedule to this point. While the next few games should bring a few more wins they face a tough close to the season against the Infection, X-treme, and Starvin Marvins. I think its safe to assume that this team is bound for the playoffs, however their positioning at the end of the season is currently an enigma.

3. Morocco Camels (5-1): Since the departure of Da King this team has experienced a offensive revitalization. They should be able to rack up a few more victories over the next few games before their new OC gets a crack at the Lions in game 10.

4. Mozambique Lions (5-1): Lost their first game against a quality opponent, however the coming games will provide more opportunities to show that they belong near the top.

5. Los Angeles X-treme (5-1): After a close loss to the Camels the X-treme have responded with two quality victories over the Beavers and Jinx. Game 7 will bring a home game against the top rated Infection, can the X-treme cause some chaos in the standings?

6. San Dimas Saints (5-1): My humble pie tastes delicious. Before the season I stated that I just didn’t see any way that this team would make the playoffs but its now looking like they will be sneaking in. While they have had a relatively easy schedule thus far, they have beaten the teams they have needed to beat. In what’s shaping out to be a hit or miss elephant conference, 8 wins might be enough to make it to the post season.

7. Russian Tractor (4-2): After a rough start and a name change, the Tractors have won 4 straight. They have the talent to be a top team, but thus far they have underperformed and their schedule won’t be getting any easier. Will the Tractors step it up?

8. Eaton Beavers (3-3): Another team who has had a very respectable start, all three of their losses have been at the hands of a top team and all three were very close. The teams at the top all know they don’t want to be seeing the Beavers in the first round of the playoffs. The Beavers have an easier schedule in the coming weeks, so look for them to pull away from the teams below them who are looking to get into the playoff picture.

9. River Styx Jinx (2-4): Survived a rough early schedule coming out with a respectable 2-4 record. Look for these guys to go on a winning streak before they finish off their schedule with a few tough games. These guys should be vying for a playoff spot late in the season.

10. Wichita Falls Rough Riders (2-4): The Rough Riders are severely under performing and have lost a few close games and a few that they should have won before they even started. However expectations mean jack when you’re trying to secure a playoff berth. I expect these guys to bounce back, but they need to do so quickly.

11. Casablanca White Houses (1-5): 3 of their losses have been by 6 points or less, however their 1 win came against a team with the same record at them. This team has a tough schedule to battle through for the rest of the season, while they aren’t eliminated from the playoff hunt I would be shocked to see them make it.

12. Mogedishu Malice (1-5): After winning their first game, the Malice have dropped 5 straight. This team still has their playoff hope alive, however the need to start winning games quickly to remain in the hunt.

13. Congo Death (1-5): This team has the potential to be a top team, however they are having problems securing wins. The next few games should be tough, however the might be able to pick up enough at the end to slip into the playoffs.

14. High Plains Drifters (2-4): Secured two wins early on, but the remainder of the season looks bleak. QB Stevie Mann and WR Speedy McFastestson can explode any game, so this isn’t a team that should be over looked; however I don’t expect them to be making a playoff appearance.

15. New Jersey Blaze (0-6): They couldn’t keep their defense off the field in an embarrassing loss to the Camels today. 0-6 isnt the way they expected to start their season, but they aren’t mathematically eliminated from the playoffs yet and they have the personnel to get back into contention.

16. Swaziland Black Mambas (0-6): Have given up over 100 points 4 weeks in a row and are still looking for their first TD of the season. Averaging less than 1 point per game is a good way to get relegated.

Excellent job Keller. We studied over and over every aspect of the Heat to pull the win off today. I know the Heat now better than I know my own team....LOL.

On another note, Salizy13 was great in getting us to this point and deserves some credit to our success. We at Kalahari Night Riders wish him the best and he always will be considered a Night Rider.

i tried it often enough to tell you that you should overthink your gameplan but the only thing you did was telling me what i should do cause you know everything about this game...

I'm honestly not sure what to expect from the Camels right now. I'm just glad we played them while DaKing was OC.
