The Top Teams:
1. Maine Grenadiers 7-0- at this point, they must be the favorite to win gold outright, they are clearly the best team in the east without a doubt.
2. Chicago 85' Bears 7-0- there would be an argument for putting Chicago at #1, but they are not quite as good as Maine at the moment and are less likely to make a deep playoff run based on team history
The Contenders:
3. UT Pimps 5-1-1- they are one of the most dangerous teams, they are here ahead of the Philosophers because they have custom EQ and the Philosophers don't
4. The Philosophers 6-1- they are the best team in the west by tactics, but they don't have custom EQ, so they are here even though they beat the Pimps
5. SAS Chicken Stranglers 6-1- they look pretty good right now, their only lost was to 7-0 Chicago in an unlucky first game matchup, they don't have custom on all their players either
6. Fighting Gamecocks 6-1- it would take a miracle for this team to recover after the announcement in the gold forum, but maybe something lucky could happen and they could get a playoff run assuming they don't completely collapse and fall all the way down the list
7. Short Bus Window Lickers 4-2-1- They have been on a nice 3 game run and this is the first season since 15 that Short Bus looks like they have a shot at the east title seeing how neither Crackertown nor FG is going to be that strong
8. The Garrison of Rome 5-2- only losses to Philosophers and Bears, and beat PNP, but they are an unproven team
9. PNP 5-2- they beat SBWL, but that blowout against UT Pimps and the loss to Garrison gives them the 9 spot
10. Crib Midgets 5-2- barely made this section, the losses to BNI and PNP were close though, so they can stay here
On the Edge of Contention:
11. Pain Nation 4-3- they come in ahead of the other 4-3 teams because of their win over the Philosophers lately
12. Sir Flumps-A-lot- 4-3- they have no CEQ, but all of their losses were very close
13. Shy Town Bears 4-3- that blowout loss to the Stranglers is not good for their hopes in the future
14. Wood Village 4-3- they're lucky there aren't many teams with winning records because after that blowout to Shy Town, they have practically no chance at a championship unless they really get it together
Playoff Bubble:
15. Montpellier Wildcats 3-3-1- they haven't beaten anybody that good, but their losses have all been to better teams, the next couple of game will be very telling
16. DIRTY INC. 3-3-1- they are only ahead of SEC because of SEC's building style, however, they will not simply coast into the playoffs as an 8 seed, they likely will make it if they beat SEC, though
17. S.E.C. Domination 3-3-1- they are essentially equal with DIRTY because they have better tactics but worse builds, the winner of that game will make the playoffs and the loser will go home more than likely in the west
18. Brigate Nere Italia 3-4- they have just beaten Lunch Box and Crib Midgets and are on a little run, they are unlucky they played Columbia when they were still human owned, they will need some real work to make the playoffs in their current situation, taking 4 out of their last 5 seems to be a must at this point
19. Little Green Men 3-4- they are the best 3-4 team in the east and have the best chance to sneak in from that conference, game against reeling FG will tell more about their chance although those wins over Wood Village and Kill Devil will help in case of a tiebreaker
20. Long Island Knights PW 3-4- they look to be on the outside looking in of the playoffs, they lost to 2 bad teams in the SOA and the Baytown Bulldogs, however, if they can come up with wins over Montpellier and Kill Devil Hill, they could quickly have an inside track to the playoffs, although if they lose those, they are gone
21. Kill Devil Hill Flyers 3-4- beat 2 non-human controlled teams in SAS and OPF and barely beat Crackertown, they were not terrible in their first 3 losses, but that loss to the Little Green Men leaves them out of the playoffs barring a miracle run
Playoff Hopes on Life Support, Need to Be Careful to Avoid Demotion:
22. Lunch Box 2-4-1- they beat 2 pretty good teams in their first 2 games but have been terrible since then, they had 2 close losses and a tie, this game against AC Surf is a must win for both teams
23. Atlantic City Surf 2-4-1- beat BNI, but other than that, not much going for them and they are in the same must win situation as Lunch Box in their game, the loser of that is going home and is closer to demotion than the playoffs
24. Baytown Bulldogs 2-5- actually beat Long Island and will get a win over Helsinki, but probably need to win 6 of the other 8 games to make the playoffs which is very unlikely, if they slump, they could easily be demoted
Demotion Teams, No Playoff Hopes:
25. BSBR 2-5- they needed that win over the Garrison, they beat Lunch Box and Boston so it is clearly conceivable for them to avoid demotion if they pick up a few wins, but playoff hopes are probably gone
26. Boston GoatWarriors 2-5- will probably be 3-5 after this game and they have not been terrible, but they have only the Saviours as an easy game after that and will need to start gameplanning to stave off demotion, they will definitely not be in the playoffs
27. Sons of Anarchy 1-6- a far cry from their championship team of the east last season, but they have a few close losses so far and they look to need wins over the Little Green Men and Kill Devil Hill to stay in gold, that loss to Baytown was a killer
28. CrackerTown Juniors 1-6- they will get a win next week, but to stay in gold, they will need a couple unlikely wins
CPU/Non-Owned/No Player Teams:
29. Columbia Drug Lords 2-4-1- most of their team is actually intact and they could contend to not be demoted if they pick up a good owner, otherwise they are gone if they stay CPU
30. OPF 1-6- their whole roster is inactive and they will not win another game this season
31. San Antonio Saviours- all CPU players
32. Helsinki Hawks- all CPU players
