WEEK 7 RANKINGS
LION

1 Canton (6-0) - My absence hasn't changed anything here. Still dominating teams and will continue to do so for weeks to come.

2 CWE (5-1) - They were zipping along along until Zambezi made their run defense look suspect this past week.

3 Philly Franklins (5-1) - Should be fighting for the 2 seed all the way to the finish line. Week 16 could be the big factor that decides who draws the 7th or 6th seed in the first round.

4 Lincoln (6-0) - Lincoln has kept their streak alive but I want to see how they do against their next 3 opponents before adjusting these next few spots too much.

5 Somalia Pirates (6-0) - Same story as Lincoln. Pretty similar schedules to date so I want to see how they do against a few of the top teams (including each other).

6 San Diego (5-1) - Holding their own very well. Lost to Philly but they weren't blown out. Beaten a few of the better teams around. They've got some winnable games upcoming that should put them in solid position for a playoff run.

7 Zambezi Silverbacks (3-3) - After a tough 2 game losing streak the Silverbacks get a great win over CWE behind some strong running. Uphill battle but I still think they have a great shot at the playoffs.

8 Guyana Punch (4-2) - Solid start but their schedule is backloaded with tough teams. Can they hold up until hitting a tough stretch of games from week 10 through the finish line?

9 Nile River Assassins (2-4) - Can they make it 3 in a row this week?

10 Hall of Heroes (1-5) - Getting creamed by some of the best teams in the conf and that won't change anytime soon.

11 Komodo Dragon (2-4) - Two wins in the last 3 weeks but they're looking at a little losing streak developing.

12 Uganda Silverbacks (0-6) - Bad start to the season has just gotten worse. The schedule's not been easy and won't ease up for 2 more weeks. By then it may be too late for a playoff push.

13 Oklahoma Outlaws (1-5) - Been in some games but just not getting any breaks and have yet to play the tougher vet teams.

14 Texas Longhorns (0-6) - Tough schedule has kept them in the hole. Can they dig out?

15 Transylvania (0-6) - Same story as Texas.

16 Port Arthur (0-6) - This CPU rostered team should not even be ranked.

ELEPHANT
1 Warriors (6-0) - Unbeaten and battle tested since they've played 5 teams almost guaranteed playoff spots. Is this the season for the Warriors?

2 Sons (5-1) - Been in a lot of close games this season which was not expected. Took a 13 point 4th quarter to come out on top of a 1 win team this past week.

3 TAP (4-2) - Bounced back after 2 tough losses. Did those losses cost them a potential home playoff game though?

4 ABD (5-1) - Off to a great start but they're only good win to date was over ICB. Too many close wins to date and they have a pretty harsh 2nd half schedule. Should be playoff bound though.

5 ICB (4-2) - Overcame some turnovers to come out on top of BSSI. Some tough games remaining but things let up a little the last 5 weeks of the season.

6 BSSI (4-2) - Looked unstoppable for 4 weeks. Not anymore.

7 RMT (5-1) - A week after a disappointing 4 point loss to Nairobi, the Thunder come up big with a 7 point win over A7.

8 A7 (5-1) - Defensive battle to the end. Second half of the season is worse than first half so they better not ease up now.

9 Nairobi (4-2) - Keeping pace to fight for a playoff spot but the next 5 weeks should go far to deciding if they make it.

10 ECS (3-3) - Probably won't see this team in the playoffs but they've shown improvement this season.

11 Guyana (1-5) - The schedule has not been kind to GG. Neither has the closing of the talent gaps between a lot of the Ele teams.

12 49ers (2-4) - Played some tough teams close so maybe they get some breaks later on.

13 Ghana (1-5) - Could any other team be more unexplainable? 1 point win over Zambezi, crushed by RMT and ECS, 1 point loss to ABD and 2 point loss to Sons. This team is all over the place.

14 Norfolk (1-5) - Week 1 win seems so long ago now.

15 London (0-6) - Schedule? Talent? We'll find out which is hurting the most in the second half of the season.

16 Boston (0-6) - Still searchng for that first win.

Sorry for the lack of posts lately. More snow, loss of power for most of a day, backed up at work, etc. And more snow expected here starting Tuesday AM and going through Wednesday night! Probably going to be a quiet week for me on here but I'll try to get the rankings updated at the least. Predictions are going to be short this week.

Lion
Philly vs Komodo
San Diego vs Texas

Somalia vs Lincoln
This is the most notable Lion game of the week. Both teams are undefeated and having great seasons. I like Lincoln to step it up here and get the win but expect Somalia to fight til the end.

Canton vs Zambezi
CWE vs Port Arthur
Nile vs Trans
Guyana P vs HoH
Oklahoma vs Uganda

Elephant
49ers vs A7
BSSI vs Ghana
LMMM vs Warriors

ABD vs Nairobi
Good game for both teams as they both are looking to separate themselves from the pack. ABD needs to continue to win and Nairobi just plain needs this win if they want any shot at a low seed later down the road. ABD also hasn't had the hardest schedule yet either so they can't falter now.

ECS vs RMT
GG vs ICB
SoA vs Boston
TAP vs Norfolk

so about your wife j/k

i'm actually in CT and we're having crazy snowfall amounts that surpass any i can recall from my life. seems like every storm we've gotten has dumped a minimum of 6-7 inches. Last two storms hit us for around 40 inches within the span of a week and now we're getting more. Yeay!

@Saerin - I was watching the news this morning and the storm you're getting is probably the same one as me. They said the storm had like 33 states in winter storm warning status. Also, I just ordered a snowblower from frigging WI. CT is completely out of stock everywhere I checked in this damn state and I got my hands on one of the last 2 in stock at the store we found online.

What part of Conn.? My sister is in Norwalk. This probably explains why she's been on xboxlive every evening lately.
