After a 13-13 tie early in their first season, and a crushing loss in the playoffs to the Naranjas, Dorset have marked this game as a grudge match.

Seville are one of the most continually underrated teams in Alpha, and despite apparent level mis-matches in places, seem to pull a win out where they may not have been expected to. A heartbreaking 22-17 loss to the unbeaten Knossos means that Seville will be looking to jump back on the horse and get back to their winning ways.

Dorset are also reeling after a tough loss to the elite Montcuq Beserker Trolls, and need the victory to help in their pursuit of homefield advantage. Seville are one of the teams they are yet to beat in the league (Black Watch, Knossos, Montcuq are the others remaining, Rocks aside), and after the playoff loss last season, they will put extra emphasis on this game.

Seville Naranjas at Dorset Stampede - will the Naranjas get juiced, or will Seville peel past the line to victory?

Going to be one hell of a game, and as it stands, they have our number. They beat us 20-10 in the second round of the playoffs, and took Knossos to the line - it's hard to say who are the underdogs in this matchup, but its a game both teams need to win.

Oh yeah this is a big one. No doubt we're public enemy #1 for both Dorset & Montcuq after last season's playoffs. Add that we're coming off consecutive losses and really need a quality win to get back in the top team discussion.

Should be a great game!

Whichever way it goes, I'm sure it will be close and both teams will be up for the battle - however it turns out, I always look forward to playing Seville - a little Anglo-Spanish rivalry!

You've had our number so far, we almost got this one to overtime!

Until the playoffs, or next season - whenever we next meet!!

Gotta admit no one was expecting this as the opening play of the game from Dorset -

What a finish. Great game Dorset. Wasn't sure either team would get into the end zone. Lot of bend but don't break out there on defense.

Yeah, great red zone D by both teams - if only we hadn't missed that FG!!
