Quick Note: You can read more about the Colley Matrix method at: http://www.colleyrankings.com/faq.html It's one of the better BCS computer ranking systems (though for the record, the BCS is the work of the devil.)

The Colley Matrix method does not accomodate 'ties' so all matches that result in a tie will not be considered in the calculations.

we beat mali mirage though, you lost to them. and they are ranked higher then both of us so i think we go on top for beating a harder opponent /shrug

i really have no clue but that makes sense

This is the most accurate "power rankings" I've seen yet.

The most interesting yes, accurate IDK; the not taking ties into effect does have a major bearing on the rankings. But, I would say that it is fair considering that we (Royal Knights) haven't yet faced any of the top 4 teams. We beat the Pirates, but IDK where they were ranked at the time we faced them. This does deserve a sticky.

I ask for a sticky as well. Curious to see how well my self made formula will compare to a proven one at seasons end. Though I must admit.... mine has a lot of kinks to work out yet.

the colley matrix is great for early season rankings, but by the end of the season, once every team has played each other, the SoS component sort of falls out and it essentially becomes a ranking based on W-L.

now if someone can figure out a way to add some sort of modified Margin of Victory component to the matrix code . . .

I think it very cool that you have the Werewolves ranked as number 1.

With the way our offense is having troubles getting untracked, I have to wonder a bit about how your rankings are put together, but I think it seriously cool!

Thats why i want to see it at the end. Im using SoS, Win % and a margin of victory (avg scored - avg given up) and then some other things. I really want to see how it holds at the end.
