I haven't watched many games lately but today I went through and watch all the plays in 2 games and the Block scheme is not correct on pass blocking and some run plays.

LG goes around the center to pick up the MLB if the linebacker was faster he should have killed that gap.

RT goes to block the NT and the RG pulls out on the LE. Since its not a screen I assuming that the Guard is not pulling. all of these plays have a blitzing SS or CB from that side of the field the Guard picks up the outside blitzer instead of the Tackle picking up the blitzer.

I think what your missing is that the RT is coming inside to block the NT, and the RG is going outside to block the DE.

They are swapping, are you seeing the same thing?

But why do that if the Guard isn't suppose to pull. You would use that block scheme if you where running a trap run, or a mis-direction run. Not on a pass play. The guard is not going to make it on a pass rush DE to stop him. The swap is the bug.

I agree the two swapping is what would be in question here.

I am almost positive these are new DPC defensive plays being used.

With that said, I don't feel like the RG and RT swapping makes much sense based off the things they should be seeing.

I am going to mark this LIKELY A BUG.

I have more examples I will post later, (on my phone) where a similar thing happens when you have a goalline d vs a standard 6 man front like a 2 wr I set.

Defense for the team in question is all old DPC plays. This blocking is working as intended for that version of the DPC. We will not be correcting this. Bugs Moderator can close as not a bug and notify OP.
