Is everyone pleased?
Forums look a little bland, but have gone that direction for a few seasons now.
Hopefully the sim is tolerable.

So whats the skinny? The good the bad and the ugly please.

(BTW yes I ask here, because here is where my teams belong. And look for veteran answers not punanny one hit wonders)

Deep passing is easier than last year and running up the gut is a bit tougher.

Ya, I agree with Ping. They did something to the deep passing game that was unanounced that made it slightly easier to complete deeper passes, but still no where near what it was in S18. They also made changes to make it a tad bit harder to run up the gut. This season might be one of the more balanced ones in recent history. Too early to tell yet.

looks like running in the middle is going to be tougher.
( either that or the new build programs have everyone with tougher lines of D)

My passing went way off from pre-season games. No idea why.
Must have been a change to the passing sim.
On one play where I had him throw to the TE, he had him open and threw it literally 20 yards over his head. The sim said he was going for the Wr who was about 15 yards away on a different route.
there was no way he was throwing to him and the pass went about 50 yards.
Didnt think a level 1 QB could throw that far.
It also went like a bullet, when my QB is not set with those tactics.

Defense - little too early to tell. I had my new D in, but not exactly what I plan to use. I was fairly happy with it.
It will need adjusting. We should no by level 6.

Still, encouraging so far.

I thought the preseason sim was great on offense. Seemed very balanced. I think the last inside rushing nerf was a bit too much. Still wide open receivers seem to be catching the ball most the time and it's nice to finally be able to use screens. LBs still seem to stop when the ball is thrown to a RB. Back off the last rushing nerf and the the sim would be pretty balanced.

I think this sim would be balanced if the RB coverage was improved a little for the defense and the WR/TE coverage was improved a little for the offense.

I think the sim was the same from preseason to regular season. I think it's more that teams are actually playing defense in the regular season.
