The QB is checking down, pulls in the ball and decides to run and suddenly every o-lineman gives up his block and lets the defender through.

Later in the same game:

This play is a HB draw from the same game and it looks similar. No one gets pancaked but all the o-linemen just let go of their blocks.

I'm going to request that we get some more replays in on this.

Going to mark this as NEEDS MORE INFO. Hopefully we can get some more links to start verification.

I've got a scrim this afternoon. I'll set my QB back to run often and see if I can get a few more replays.

Problem is, it's a private scrim. Can you guys see replays from private scrims?

Sorry, no.

Here's one. The G just lets go of the DT as soon as the QB decides to run.

I think you might be looking at this in reverse. I don't think the D-line breaks through because the QB decides to run. I think the QB decides to run because the D-line breaks through.

That could be on the later replays, but on the first (which is the best example of this) the o-line seem to have solid blocks for 4-5 clicks after the QB pulls the ball down. Then simultaneously they just give up on their blocks.

My first thought is that somewhere in the transition from pass blocking to run blocking something changes. Maybe the formula for who to block changes and the o-linemen try to target someone else.

It seems to be popping up more often with the DT and NT positions but that could be from matching up against 4-3 teams recently.

Here are a few examples from my latest game:

There are a few more but they're questionable whether the o-lineman just got beat.

In this one the DT is 3/4 of the way past the LG before the QB tucks the ball. I don't see any giving up here.

In this one I just see them getting beat slowly.

Here I agree it looks funny because it seems to happen simultaneously, but I think they just slowly work their way around the O-line.

I think if this were a bug and not a level/build issue then it would occur with high level dots.

NOT LIKELY A BUG

Very often we see where the visual representation of the play is deceiving because they are dots. Some of these are close looking but most are simultaneous or after the qb pulls down and therefore, in my opinion, this is not a bug and verified as such.

I don't think it's a bug. Submitting for Admin Review.
