The linebacker decided he got tired of playing and ran off the field. Who would have guessed that was possible in GLB

I found something on this in a sticky thread.

We have filed a few instances of this, but we are willing to look at new issues as well. Be aware that very low-level dots may do something weird like this from time to time.

I am going to mark this as NOT LIKELY A BUG.

A player running out of bounds for no reason is a "quirk" and not a bug? WTF?

It is an issue that we have been having. We have filed bugs about this. Since the dot in the replay is 2 days old at this point, I pretty much declared that it is along the lines of this common situation.

It is in the system though. So others will be looking at it.

I completely agree with Pwned here. This dot is an extremely low level and has no real stats. Imagine you're a first grader playing pee-wee football, sometimes you get distracted or aren't quite sure of where the boundary line is.

NOT LIKELY A BUG

Yes, this is not a bug. Extremely low level dots will do things like this from time to time as they do not have the necessary attributes to make quicker path corrections. The LB does return to the field, he is just very slow in making cuts.

Closed as not a bug - 3rd verification
