Well with the first replay you noted with the DE hitting 50+ on the speed script and for acceleration as well, I'd probably wanna get the DE's build but there was no "chip blocking" on that DE to cause the DE to have a spike in his speed/acceleration.

With the 2nd replay, the RB could've certainly chipped in but not sure if it really caused much of a speed/acceleration boost to the LDE. It looks like he makes a jump to the QB after the HB has long run his route and he's been engaged with the ROT.

I'll say for now we're going to need more info to determine if the chip blocking fix isn't working.

Maybe its just me, but in the second replay I don't see this chip block... It looks like the RB runs through the LDE and then once the LDE breaks his block with the ROT his SA's kick in and he takes out the QB

I'm not seeing anything that strange here either. There is some slight acceleration after breaking a block with the RT or LT respectively. I see him getting slowed down by the FB and the HB just ignoring him with no boost or slow down.

The other thread mentions a slight boost after breaking a block was intentional.

in a previous thread i did not call it chip blocking and a bugs mod labeled it a duplicate post and linked the chip blocking thread posted above.

It isn't a "chip block", rather a regular "broken block," but my concern is the 50+ acceleration in the first replay.

true, just curious if it's meant to be that quick, because visually looking at it, it does not appear to be "working as intended"

With those stats I can't really say it's not working as intended.....

Do you perhaps have replays of some other DE coming off a block that fast? Preferably one without 110spd/agi and 11 first step?

This looks like an issue with dots to me. I'm thinking its probably not a bug, but rather just a visual issue. Regardless, more information should be given.

That guy looks fast, but not unreasonable. It's been almost 2 weeks with only this one example, and it's questionable. So I'd say this is not a bug.

Marking Needs Coordinator
