My thoughts on Lion:

Nile River-good guy running this team, but they shouldn't be here yet. A ball to APL is going to be brutal for them.
Canton-Our window closed.
Guyana Punch-Another team that's too young to be here. AA to Pros jump. I think they'll find a way to survive another season up here and just get better if they can stick it out.
Texas Longhorns-Hey look. King of Bling GMs another team in APL! Probably one of the most competitive new teams here.

Komodo Dragon-Another A ball to APL jump. This team smells like a Cincy farm team. Very young.
Hall of Heroes-Looking to carry on the torch of teams related to Vegas being mediocre in APL.
Transylvania Grim Reapers-A league to APL again. Is this a joke Bort?
Lincoln Saints-Looking to improve on a very good season in APL last season. They look like they've made some changes and have a few roster slots still to fill. I don't know if they got better or worse though.

CWE-Looks like may have made a few upgrades. They could make a run deep into the playoffs this season.
San Diego Aquabats-The 7th and final new team in the Conference. All I know is we played them in the LC back in like season 13. They were decent back then.
Philly Franklins-Fell short of expectations last season, and don't seem to have improved this season. Will fight for a home field playoff game, but I don't know that they did enough to do more than that.
Somalia Pirates-This team is interesting to me. I think they take the next step this season and could have a great season ahead. Don't be shocked to see them in the Conference Championship when all is said and done.

Zambezi-The first of the silverbacks teams looks like they stood pat. So they'll probably only move up the standings because of the absence of D9/SFD.
Uganda-Made a few changes. They look to take another step forward this season after a solid showing last. I expect them to pass Zambezi and win the banana bowl this season.
Oklahoma Outlaws-Gaping holes in the roster. Either shore them up or it could be ugly for them.

Port Arthur Hodag-Highest effective level team in the league, and higher than any WL team. Look out for these guys!

Like you said this could be a VERY tough year for us. I just hope that we can make the game competitive, but most likely this will be our first non playoff season in a LONG time.

Hit the nail on the head here - certainly should not be in a pro league. I'd say it about a few other teams as well.

We'll actually be protesting out-of-position penalties by playing everyone in a different position, so I expect at least 1/2 of the games to be lopsided blowouts against us. Fighting chance in the rest, I'd say.

I'll also be protesting the changes to the DPC by not wiping my butt and then complaining about the smell to Support all day long. But there should be no visible effects on the field.

edit - I rarely ever post in the public forums, but it hurt me to see that we were the only damn Pro league with no updated posts in our forum today I expect much more spam and b.s. in here before this next season kicks off, folks.

Nice!

I agree, I don't know what Bort have thought about bringing so many young teams in this league. Probably he was drunk or somethink writing this script.

Did a lot of Africa Pro teams drop down last season? Other Pro leagues got A/AA teams but Africa seems to have gotten the most.
