Warrior General Games

Hey I really respected what the guys did for Vegas moving up. Wether or not you like the Crush they are doing a hell of a job in AA, and I think we should show our support. I started a thread Columbus Crush there for anyone that wants to show the love.

krwynn seems like a pretty good guy.

That being said, there's nothing remotely fun about the Crush, or any team that has double digits worth of players belonging to a single person. It really is completely contrary to the spirit and point of the game. I didn't even care about losing to the Krwynns, nor would I really care about beating them (or should I say him). If you want to dominate in football with yourself and 3 other guys, buy a Playstation and 4 controllers, and play against the computer on Junior Varsity mode (or whatever it is... I don't own a gaming system). A#3 is far more fun this year without the Columbus Krwynns in the league. JMHO.

Nothing personal. We're just existing on two different planes. I like running a team because I like the interaction with the 30 or so owners that are on my team, and I enjoy playing against other teams comprised of the same. Bringing our squad against one guy with 30 players and a couple other people on the team to justify the canned "but there are other owners on my team!!!" response just isn't enjoyable. It reminds me of that scene from that South Park where they play World of Warcraft against the one guy.

I'll be rooting for Columbus to win their current league for no other reason than that I don't want to be promoted to a league with them in it again if we get that far. I definitely don't feel the urge to root for krwynn to win his league as some sort of "respect for the little guys in A#3" or whatever. If it was Austin, Tricity, Turin, Omaha, etc... yeah. Hell, even these Vegas guys that think they can hang, yeah. Not the Columbus krwynns, though. It's like playing a rec-league baseball game against a team of ringers that has no business being there, except that the ringers are all the same guy. It's just not fun, win lose or draw.

One I did say if you want to show the love! Two when it all comes down man it's a game. Everyone chooses to play a game the way they like to. Krwynn plays it his way you play it your way. All that aside he is a master tactician, and dominates at this game which I give him the utmost respect for no matter what his demeanor is off the field.

I agree completely. I'm not bitching about him doing it the way he does it. He's free to do it,it's within the rules, etc. I'm sure he enjoys the game greatly, or else he wouldn't spend the money that he does to play. More power to him. I'm just saying, I enjoy the league more without the Crush in it that with them. No big deal, just making a statement. 2am drunken ramblings are great

Well, team owners who have more than 3 of their own players on their team are going to be affected once the sportsmanship is applied. Krwynn has done a great job as far as game planning, so I give him props there. He does know what he is doing.

To set the record straight. Not that I need to defend myself but I will defend the facts. We have 12 other owners with 24 players that mostly start. We have never been a "me" team. If you would look in the league we moved to you would see a couple of teams 100% filled with owner players. I'm sure in the future you will start seeing more. There are not enough "team" players available. The main purpose of a game is to win. Is it not? I will always do everything within the rules to do that. We haven't raped anyones team, made unfair trades, conspired, etc. to win. Hate or love us for it as I could care less either way. As for this being a community game, bs. There is nothing community about it. You have evidently grown up behind a monitor planted in myspace, facebook, or whatever else is out there to think that. 99% of our owners are professional people. We're intelligent enough to know what a real tangible friendship is. And it's not something you can get online.

Like I said, I don't have a problem with a guy with 40 players on his own team. It's legal, it's within the rules, and you're trying to win. I just don't like being in a league with one or more of those teams. It's the same with the Austin Extreme, who are a terrible, terrible team. I don't really like playing against them either.

But continue to act offended and get defensive if it serves you.

Thats not true. You will only get a slight bonus if you don't have more than 3 and no bonus if you do. All that will do is create tons of small leveled players on teams that wont even make the DC. I'm sure there are enough people that have put money into this game that their voice will be heard.
